@seanr456 I never saw it that way. I always saw it as a beautiful statement on the continutation of life after death. It's one of my favorite movie quotes ever.
Does Anyone Here Know What Jeanie's (Jodie Foster) And Brad's (Scott Baio) Last Names Were In The Movie ? Need This For A Retrospective Article I'm Writing ! Thanks !
This was thee cool teenie boppers rebellious movie of the time. I saw it at the theater with friends. I taped the newspaper movie ad to my bedroom wall. I drove my Mom up the wall watching this movie on HBO dozens of times.
Yeah! this is how it was back in the day. You could go to a concert and not have to go through the metal detectors and it seemed like you knew everyone there. The music was great, a felling I wish I could recapture maybe it was just youth.
I tubed for this song, after dropping into the start of this movie just now. It's on On Demand, I'll see if I can record it and upload a better quality version
i cry everytime i watch this clip. i stumbled upon this watching the movie. Sigh, Girgio Morodor is a genius. This song and movie really balance each other well. I wish that I could give ten stars for this clip. Thank you so much for posting this.
great song.. and great movie, it's been 10 years since i watch it for the first time... no other song was more right and the first piano's notes when the movie starts are the sweetest thing I've never heard
I have been doing an experiment. For the last three days I listen to this clip and w/out fail I cry. The way you edited this just struck the right chord, showing how one song can be woven into a movie and not have the song exhausted.
I loved this movie and the slow version of "On The Radio." It worked beautifully and the end was just gut-wrenching as the song just washed over everything! Nice editing, Summerholliday44.
Does anyone know if the actual soundtrack of "Foxes" contained different versions of "On The Radio" or was it like the version on Summer's On The Radio Grtst Hits LP?
No. You're wrong. The Foxes soundtrack was issued by Casblanca records with these tracks: Donna Summer: "On the Radio" (Extended soundtrack mix) Janis Ian: "Fly Too High" Brooklyn Dreams: "Shake It" Cher: "Bad Love" Giorgio Moroder: "Valley Of the Dolls Angel: "20th Century Foxes" Keith Forsey: "Greedy Man" Angel: "Virginia" Giorgio Moroder: "On the Radio" (Instrumental) Giorgio Moroder: "Hollywood Dreams" Giorgio Moroder: "Fly Too High" Giorgio Moroder: "Valley Of the Dolls"
Donna Summer should have recorded a ballad version of this it is actually a much prettier song when done as a slow version.

Such a cheery, uplifting song. Too bad the movie ends with a philosophical musing on the virtues of cannibalism.

Can you please upload the whole movie? I'm dying to see it & can't find it anywhere. That would be truly awesome. <3

The seventies made such realistic movies, especially teenage dramas like Foxes. On The Radio blends in very well with the storyline too.

Man, this movie captures the feeling of the times, back then.
The vibe it gives off, is just priceless.
Miss those days. Oh how simple, it all seems now. (:

Is the first time that I see that and hear this On The Radio version of DoNNa The slow and the fast both great!

This is actually a great movie about coming of age in this
particular time-span, with a so-cal bent.
On The Radio works seemlessly through the entire movie.
