temperature wrecks traditional batteries sometimes. often leading to the dead one on cold days for cars. but if your bike were entirely powered off of batteries, this could lead to slow top-end speeds on cold days, and faster ones on hot days
With the original weight being 325.0 kg (716.5 pounds) How are you guys doing on the weight so far? I am just guessing but I doubt you have hit the stock XVZ12 ride weight.

it was awesome to finally ride!!
havent checked on the weight at all, we'll have to do that with a 4th battery in there (i'm planing on doing 48V, not 36V)
also, the 1 volt was measured incorrectly across 2 out of the 4 posts on the motor
hopefully i'll get a controller that works better so we can test it asap!

We still didn't figure out what the problem was though, did we?
I can bring in my Citicar controller for testing on the cycle next time.

i believe we narrowed it down to the controller being bad, but defiantly bring that controller to test, i'm looking at a few right now...
