Is that supposed to be impressive or something...Edelbrock makes good stuff for sure, but the sound of the air being pulled in isn't really intriguing to most, usually its the exhaust note. And as far as the electrical issues, good luck bud.

clean that throttle plate and housing,that carbon build up, upsets the airflow,making it stall on decell,no flare when starting cold ETC.
