If you click the 'HQ' button, the picture becomes much sharper, but really slow framerate. If you don't click it it's sh***ty quality but it plays really smooth..
i agree because i just tested it months ago and it went to 29.97. YT stopped the 60 fps around Feburary of 09.
the games they record most games run around 30 and some 60 depends on the games like some game and they play as if there framerate never drop. At this point i rally dont care anymore. i use viddler.
The NEWER videos need to benefit from 50.00/59.94/60.00 fps, but once again, the people that control YouTube are in the state of "copyright paranoia" at this point. Also, why does 60 FPS have to be limited to "low" quality? It's backwards, the "high" quality should get double the frame rate. I've tried it on 2 videos so far and they got reduced down to 29.97 fps -- I've had to use crappy adaptation to smooth out videos.
@Burbruee Because when you click HQ you increase the work your computer has to do phenomenally. This video takes twice the processing power of a standard YouTube video. Your computer has to work out the frame sixty times a second rather than the standard thirty times. It is helped by compression algorithms, but is still a lot of work. Now when you upscale to HD, you add more pixels it has to work out.
Your clip does in fact play at 60 FPS, as long as you don't use any modifiers like "&fmt=18" - otherwise, you get the noticeably downsampled 29.9 FPS version. I've seen other YouTube videos that also play at true 60 FPS - check out the vid titled "3DMark 2000 (60 FPS)".
It is 60 FPS for sure. Great stuff. How did you achieve that?! I want to upload videos of my new game at 60 fps, since the game runs at that rate, and it really improves quality... for arcade games, 60 fps is a must.
the problem i had was windows movie maker only outputs 30 fps. but when i tried to submit the raw (intensity pro) video to youtube it could not handle that filesize (or rather such a high mbps encoding)
you sir, are f**king amazing for having 60fps :O

How can you download the original video in the best quality possible?
I use jdownloader, but recently I have doubted their quality, does anyone have a suggestion?
My goal is mainly downloading 60 fps videos in real 60 fps
