  • you sir, are f**king amazing for having 60fps :O

  • wow looks so pretty in 240p

  • 4 years later, YT still doesn't 'officialy' support 60 fps. Pathetic.

  • I didn't know 240p was at 60fps.

I wish they'd allow 60fps videos on all resolutions.

  • 240p - 60 fps, check it out.

  • I love 60fps

  • why wud they remove 60fps?

  • LOL. i got 62 FPS. but its real good

  • Good stuff.

  • ooh, i remember this video when it was 60 fps

  • @german199denuevo it still is. click 240p and look at video info. its 60 fps

  • @Soccer1296 yea, i can now, awesome :D

  • I'm watching this at 240p, it looks awesome! When will YouTube support 50 and 60p again?

  • right click the video and click "Show video info" to see the framerate

  • Oddly enough, the 240p version has a higher framerate than the 360p one.

  • @lazrpo hey you're right. I thing the 360p runs on 30fps and the 240p is on 60fps.

  • in Freps 35fps

  • How can you download the original video in the best quality possible?

I use jdownloader, but recently I have doubted their quality, does anyone have a suggestion?

My goal is mainly downloading 60 fps videos in real 60 fps

  • Reduce the playback quality to 240p and the video is 60fps.

  • Fraps sees 35-40 fps

  • Good song and good framerate. SUBSCRIBED!

  • this video is indeed 60 fps (right click show video info)

  • how did you do? i can't :S

  • WAIT!

YouTube just updated and now they have 60fps!!

    YEE-HA

  • Wow I dunno how to get 60 fps, on YT (howewer I get em :D) btw I see portal/still alive/cakeis a lie everywhere on YT!

  • If you click the 'HQ' button, the picture becomes much sharper, but really slow framerate. If you don't click it it's sh***ty quality but it plays really smooth..

  • i agree because i just tested it months ago and it went to 29.97. YT stopped the 60 fps around Feburary of 09.

the games they record most games run around 30 and some 60 depends on the games like some game and they play as if there framerate never drop. At this point i rally dont care anymore. i use viddler.

  • @Valis77

The NEWER videos need to benefit from 50.00/59.94/60.00 fps, but once again, the people that control YouTube are in the state of "copyright paranoia" at this point. Also, why does 60 FPS have to be limited to "low" quality? It's backwards, the "high" quality should get double the frame rate. I've tried it on 2 videos so far and they got reduced down to 29.97 fps -- I've had to use crappy adaptation to smooth out videos.

  • @HoneycombAgent I wish they did 60 woul dbe all goo d but viddler has this 60fps thing going on.

  • @Burbruee Because when you click HQ you increase the work your computer has to do phenomenally. This video takes twice the processing power of a standard YouTube video. Your computer has to work out the frame sixty times a second rather than the standard thirty times. It is helped by compression algorithms, but is still a lot of work. Now when you upscale to HD, you add more pixels it has to work out.

  • It sort of shifts in and out of 60 FPS

  • then if I want 60fps like this, I gotta upload h.263 at 60fps or was it another encoder you used when uploading this video?

  • Your clip does in fact play at 60 FPS, as long as you don't use any modifiers like "&fmt=18" - otherwise, you get the noticeably downsampled 29.9 FPS version. I've seen other YouTube videos that also play at true 60 FPS - check out the vid titled "3DMark 2000 (60 FPS)".

  • your right, its realy 60FPS

  • It is 60 FPS for sure. Great stuff. How did you achieve that?! I want to upload videos of my new game at 60 fps, since the game runs at that rate, and it really improves quality... for arcade games, 60 fps is a must.

  • the problem i had was windows movie maker only outputs 30 fps. but when i tried to submit the raw (intensity pro) video to youtube it could not handle that filesize (or rather such a high mbps encoding)

  • @dieVitaCola

IT IS STILL 60FPS BUT ONLY ON 240P 360P IS 30FPS

  • Diggin' the song =]
