This is a lot easier with swords. But, you need 2 people. You jump onto the other player's head, or vice versa. Then, the player underneath uses the sword lunge thing on the other player, causing the person to get propelled into the air.

There are simpler ways rather than grenading yourself. EG a warthog or Dev superjump.
