People are so closed-minded. The only difference between this and tattoos is... this... hurts more. XD If done properly, scarification can look amazing... on the flipside, if it's done poorly or by someone unqualified, you could risk a serious infection (or it could just look fuggin' stupid).

It's not the cutting as much as the cutting in the same place over and over again, going deeper and deeper that makes me twist my face in pain.

I usually have a high tolerance when it comes to pain, and might be able to go through with a scarification, but not one in that size....:D

They do the same depth as a tattoo. I got my first ones done back in April. The aftercare involves lots of cleaning.

cutting wont last a year. i do that shit on myself and it lasts 4 months it doesnt hurt at all either..

this is not just the cutting process. you must wrap it in plastic wrap and apply vasoline to it in order to get the desired raised scar. it will work for regular cutting as well. try it, you'll see.

the scarification is not finished. when it heals, it will be a raised scar, and that, my friend, is very different from a tattoo.
