He's right. There isn't one "inventor" for parkour, it was just given the name by David Belle.

If you insist someone "created" it, then, too, David is the wrong person to look at, as Georges Hébert used it as a way of physical and mental training for the French army. It just didn't have the name then.

Actually i think you'll find it's the other way around this is parkour running from point A to point B and Free Running is the art that incorporates tricking and other various acrobatics

I think there are like loads of variations.

like in freerunning it involves buildings most of the time. but in parkour you can still do stuff.

the way ive grown up is that parkour is flips and tricks, and free running is cimbing buildings and stuff
