  • Francisco tarrega. A wonderful piece

  • Beautiful and subtle playing. Really great! A question about the guitar you are using, if you don't mind! Is that the E Model Exotic guitar? If so, do you find the neck to be unusually thick? As in someone with smaller hands may struggle with it? I'm thinking of ordering this model, but there are none in my local music store to test out.

  • Thanks for this peaceful moment. i'm inspired by your play !

  • you pause to much use a metronome to stay in time but beautiful piece

  • @Teran305 Metronomes are for learning a piece. Once learned, the metronome should be discarded for expressiveness (Rubato). Listen to the world's greatest artist, Andres Segovia. Don't think he didn't use a metronome. Yet, he was the king of "pausing".

  • @Teran305 I see your point. The pauses are a bit long. Still a beautiful rendition.

  • WOW! Great!!!!

where to get a tutorial grand master?

  • Im in the market for a new guitar, and im interested in this model. This is the Spruce top model with rosewood back and sides right? is the fretboard flat or curved?

  • @PineAway515

The soundboard is cedar, although spruce is available. The fretboard is flat and standard width for a full size classical guitar. What I like about the guitar is the sustained ringing of the strings. Almost sounds as if it's had reverb applied...very subtle but unmistakeable.

  • This is'nt my profile but i thought this was amazing!!! After i watched this i noticed my mouth was wide open in amazment!!! haha You did a great job!!! :) 5 stars!!!

  • I wish this song was longer :(

  • this song is soo cool and it has such a good mood in it :) im playing it at the funeral of my grandmother the day after tomorrow..

  • Bellissima

  • do you have really long finger nails for your strumming hand or aare you just using all finger tips?

  • @BreathlessCause

Hi. I don't know what you'd define as "really long" but I do use plastic glue-on fingernails and thumbnail because my real fingernails are too thin and tear after only one attempt at performance. Not uncommon.

  • this has just convinced me to get a rodriguez. I will only need a few years to give it justice like you have just done! That was simply beautiful mate.

  • @aftaeight

Thanks for the complement but I could have done much better.

  • @aftaeight

Thanks for the implied compliment but it will not take you a "few years" if you practice diligently. :)

  • That sounded really good dude, what I like to do is rest stroke the melody though.

  • @deanneugebauer

Yes, I recall some arrangements suggesting exactly that!

  • I just recently bought a Manuel Rodriguez Model C. It is an outstanding guitar. The feel, the sound the looks.....its beautiful. The best classical guitar I ever owned :)

  • @nrodri10

Every Rodriguez guitar that I've tried sounds wonderful.

  • I have also a Manuel Rodriguez guitar and it sounds like yours. But it is Modèle C.

  • You play this piece very good. These guitar have a sound. I heard Rodriguez was a pupil of Ramirez. Is that right?

  • @dominiquedv

    I do not know.

  • @dominiquedv how much is a manuel rodriguez model C? thanks.

  • It sounds like mine.

  • I thik the sound is a little clearer, and mine deeper. But the harmonics are sounding exactly the same.

  • @dominiquedv

The harmonics are much better than I can do them. When I'm "lucky" they are loud and clear.

  • @dominiquedv

Is that good or bad? :) :)

  • I do not know the price actually because I bought it a long time ago. It was 1994. My guitar is sixtenn years old! It was at this time about 3000 FF or 400€. My one is not to sale.

  • Very nice!

A have a Rodriguez too and i like his Sound. 5*

  • I can't tell if you did mistakes, but I can tell that there is a lot of feeling in that sound, it's a short but very profound piece of music.

Thanks for the advice, I won't go to target, I'd better start saving to get something decent.

  • I want to learn to play like that!!! sounds so beautiful!!!

Does someone know what kind of guitar is best for a beginner? Recently I've looked at some Rodriguez but they seem to be for professionals, what do you think? Does anybody can tell me???

  • Thanks for the compliment, but I did make a few mistakes! :) Anyway, it's hard to say what is best for a beginner. Looking back many years, I have to say that what made the greatest difference for me was two things: 1) The guitar had to be of decent quality..not something you buy from Target, for example. The quality is important because a decent guitar is not as difficult to finger as a cheap one (strings are closer to the fretboard , for example),2) Sound! It must sound good to YOU!

  • @lunensemar manuel rodrigues are fine guitars, I bought one whe I started, they range from studet to professional...good luck

  • Ecellent playing, love the sound of the Manuel Rodriguez, I have one, love playing it.

  • Very well played! Your guitar Rodriguez is very beautiful! 5 stars.

  • The beauty of the guitar resides in its soft and persuasive voice and its poetry cannot be equaled by any other instrument. - Andres Segovia. Your tone is superb. I thought your playing was magnificent. Thank you.

  • Played with so much emotion, thank you. Bravo! I must learn this song.

  • amazing sound

  • Good guitar playing. Love the sound of those manuel rodriguez guitars they sound so beautiful. I actually want to buy a C3.

  • ..very nice.

  • U transposed it so nice...

    sounds so sad and beautiful...

  • absolutly beautifull.I really enjoyed it.

  • very beautiful

  • Sounds like a good one, that or the Yamaha!
