@insanity401 the affordable series does not have the a3 version just the a2. and this is obviously not the a2 because he has replaced the carry handle/sight with a scope and on the a2 the carrying handle is not removable so this is the high/er end series m16a3 :) ..............oh by the way im really suprised this has ~28,000 veiws

if you take the charging handle and pull it back pointing the gun downwards at and angle! the dust cover should come open! and the thing you said that doesnt really do anything! after you take shots it releases the pressure off the string

Sweet gun, I got the G&G Combat Machine M4, and ever since I've gotten it G&G is my favorite brand. They make great guns, with excellent externals. You should consider getting a full metal flash hider. Make it look cooler.

The magnification goes "over" the scope, any scope 4x and up will do that.

@mexicankid625 Just like codzilla said, the crosshairs will go over the front sight, so there really isn't much in the way. However, if you want a total clear view, you can mount the scope on top a carry handle mount rail, or buy a riser mount.

There's only a couple airsoft guns that use this feature. The FORWARD ASSIST button releases the tension in the spring. Nothing more.

I didnt say it does on this. I was simply saying there are very few models that actually do have this feature. Heck i have this G&G GR16A3 and they cheaped out on the charging handle as well. They just put a spring on the end, doesnt even open the dust cover. I was pretty disappointed. But they made up by having the barrel a 6.03 tightbore stock, so i guess thats all good in the end.

either a jg M4 or JG MP5. both are great guns and easy to work on if u want to begin working on the insides. both have metal gearboxes and very sturdy plastic bodies that will handle alot of abuse. jg airsoft guns arent expensive and last a long time.

for a great starter gun you should get a jg m4 , theyre lower quality thana g&g or ca but if ya need something really cheap (u can get a new jg m4 for 119$ with a battery and charger)then theyre a good buy. but if you have a little more money than that then you should get a g&g gr16 plastic series for 140 but you have buy the battery, i suggest an intelect 9.6 1600 mah for 30 and then a smart charger for about 30 to so total is about 200$

i got the same gun if you want to increase the fps and keep the rate of fire put the G&P m120 motor with an m120 spring, a 9.6 2200mah battery, and that thing will fire as fast as a mini gun with crazy fps.

Nice review. For the record, the forward assist does do something. It decompresses the spring so you don't need to fire it on single after your done firing full auto. Also, BeastleHeart, the battey doesn't change FPS only fire rate.

not sure how it works, but one of my friends has the ICS m16, and there is a noticeable difference in the sound between moving the forward assist on the G&G and on the ICS.

(I would still take the G&G over the ICS anyday though)
