@haidisemirychan you speak truth. when i saw the dirty projectors did a cover of hyperballad, it made perfect sense to me. i thought "it fits longstreth's vocal impulses like a glove." then i actually listened to it and it made NO sense. changing it for the sake of changing it, when a more faithful cover might have sounded like a projectors song.

I like it, but I also feel like it's too. . different. Then again it's dirty projectors and they really add their own style to it which I appreciate.
