@ferrarimk13 In this particular case since the magnaflow competition series axle back doesnt have mufflers and its a straight through design its essentially the same thing as muffler deletes.. The competition series are basically glorified straight pipes... With muffler deletes its pretty self explanatory, all ya gotta do is cut the mufflers out and replace them with whatever diameter tubing (ex. 2.5-3in.) .. Usually its quite a bit cheaper to go with muffler deletes...

installing just the muffler delete, no it won't exceed 95 dB... that being said, i installed american racing headers after posting this video (i have another video of that install) and it is LOUD! probably beyond the legal limit!

It depends on the laws there as far as how loud they can give a noise pollution ticket. But it doesn't effect the emission system.

the cat back does on the automatic since you would remove the resonator. its less on the manuals since it is less restrictive with the stock h-pipe. but this is the axle back version which does not improve horsepower but 1-2 hp since the stock mufflers are pretty free flowing already.

Also,.. Why did you buy a whole system when you could have just removed the mufflers and inserted new pipes in their place instead of a whole system like this?

i wanted new tips, and mandrel bent stainless steel tubing. local shop only carries aluminized steel and can't mandrel bend... small price you have to pay for quality!

its very simple to do yourself if you have basic hand tools and jack stands. you'll need a saw to cut the pipe for axle backs, and catbacks just unbolt the stock exhaust and bolt right up.

the axle back should not cost you more than one hour's worth in labor... cat-back would only cost maximum 2 hours! these kits are very easy to install, make sure if you have someone do it for you that you use a watch to time how long it takes them so they don't try to over charge you!

its the magnaflow competition series exhaust. the 5 inch tips come with the kit. i got the axle back set up b/c i also got american racing headers w/ cats and x pipe, so no need for a full cat back exhaust.

how does it sound when the AFM kicks in when driving? I heard corsa is the only exhaust that has 2 resonators to reduce the effects that the AFM has on exhaust tone.

you can hear a slight difference, but at highway speeds i don't notice it. Yea Corsa claims you don't hear it, but their system is pretty expensive. if you don't like the sound get the AFM removed with a dyno tune its only 1-2mpg difference!
