  • hahaaha my spoo is 105pounds but there a very pretty phantom at the begining

  • My dog was bigger.

  • I have two toys and two standards. My large standard is three years old and 80 pounds he is the most gentle big guy on the planet.

  • That is one magnificent dog...my crunchy is only eighty lbs. I put crunchy in peoples faces like 'Diva' in Russia.

  • MAX IS BEAUTIFUL:), seeing as you won a poodle, i bet you are really smart;)

  • hes 120 pounds and stands 6 foot 3 on his hind legs

  • how much does max weigh? i have a big standard too...who weighs 84...cole!

  • oh chill people Royal is just a nickname for a really big standard Poodle people are soo dramatic lol i know i am one

  • Poodles are the best--always smiling! :)

  • My silver standard poodle is in puppy heaven now.

Give this one extra love from me :(

  • Max has the perfect fuzz face and body. That's what I ask for from groomers. Not everybody gets it, so I have had to try new groomers, when after a few tries, where I bring pictures, etc. and still don't get the look, duh-what's so hard about that?- I go elsewhere. Finally I have found the lady who gets it! yeah!

  • the confusion about the word 'Royal' probably stems from the fact that the French name for standard poodles is

    'Caniche Royal'

  • Poodles only come in 3 sizes. Toy, miniature, and standard. Poodletrek is completely correct, there is no such thing as a royal standard, he is more then likely just a very large standard.

  • now poodle has 4 sizes. the smallest one is teacup. size to fit a cup. really really cute. and expensive too

  • Poodles only come in three sizes. Toy, Miniature and Standard. You can call a poodle anything you want but only the three are recognized

  • @snowfan hmm i got mine from a shelter they said it was a klein poodle which is a standard bred with miniature

  • @rsaccountsl0l Like I said you can call your poodle whatever you want... But only Toy, Miniature and Standard are recognized by the AKC. Standard: over 15 inches tall at the shoulder; Miniature: over 10 but under 15 inches; Toy: 10 inches or under.

  • @snowfan Who cares what the breeding freaks at the AKC think? They are just a bunch of rich people with too much money and time on their hands so they watch dogs doing it with other dogs and try to create other breeds. They are pretty sick if you ask me, breeding dogs down so small that they have all kinds of health problems or faces so flat that dogs have problems breething. Some one ought to monitor them breeding.

  • @mammal46 Who said anything about the AKC??? You think they should breed dogs to make them big??? Don't you think that would also cause problems? You seem to be the one defending another breed.. The Royal? You're right about conformation breeding... It's not good for a dogs health.

  • @snowfan You seem to have misunderstood my point. I was with you. Who cares if the AKC accepts your dog as a real poodle or not? It is a living, breathing, loving animal was my point. The most mixed mutt has the same rights to love and affection as do the mixed up unhealthly breeds that the AKC cause to exist. And I'm talking about breeders who breed cats with legs so short they can't even jump"Munchkin" dogs who have a hard time breathing because of their flat faces"pugs, chins, etc...

  • @mammal46 We are it total agreement... Cheers

  • Handsome dog, but just to let you know that there is no such thing as a "royal" standard poodle. He is merely a beautiful and LARGE standard poodle. How tall is he at the withers and how much does he weigh?
