@ kdanager I think u r right on. Radio took a hit. At our field 1 person flies a jet on 72 and almost every flight he takes a hit in the back stretch & it does the same pitch nose down he is just high enough to correct it. Unlike flying 4' off the grass no room for mistakes.
@freddybusa2006 There was (and still is) a lot of speculation about what caused that crash. Some say pilot error, some say radio lock out, some have even thought mechanical failure. My personal opinion? Mechanical failure... when slowed down, you can see the plane pitch down violently for no apparent reason. I think something failed in-flight. We'll probably never know for sure...
No way that was pilot error. The pitch down was too violent. Mechanical problem - like a broken control horn, etc is possible, but doesn't seem as likely as a radio or servo glitch.
My bet is that he was flying 72MHz and somebody switched on a transmitter on the same channel. Many of us have seen this before.
This type of accident is now much less likely with the proliferation of 2.4GHz spread spectrum radios.

I honestly dont think it was airplane or pilot......had to be mechanical. I fly a BV KC and these airplanes are too sturdy.

Why does everyone feel compelled to ruin awesome videos by adding music.....

@TheGodamndevil I think the music goes well with the video and I like the song, but of course I'm not the original author so I don't know why...
