He probably isn't even a hacker. He most likely bought a 'leecher' which does the same stuff, except it is the work of another hacker. Most real 'hackers' don't actually use their hacks, they sell them.

Nice video. For other TF2 admins out there, you might already know you can type status in the console to print to screen a list of players on the server. Do the command a few times and notice the latency/ping on the suspected user. If the ping stays the same and the name changes, you may have found who you're looking for. Take the Steam ID and add it to your server ban list.

@B055C0E Glad you find it funny. If we do nothing, more of these "Hackers" will come to the game and will make the game worst. By at least reporting them, there is a chance the accounts will get banned, and the hackers will have to make a new account. Once they get the new account, that account may get banned for "Hacking".

This makes playing in this manner much harder to do, and may eventually make them quit. But doing nothing will...change nothing.

@vgfreak4life umm actually making a new account doesn't make hacking harder it literally take 2 minutes... And changing ones IP takes literally 5 seconds... well if your not a complete moron. But then again i don't play TF2 but its the same for every game.

@Erde04 Actually cnaging IP won't prevent being found. Valve can contact the users ISP and ask to see if the IP in question changed. If it has, the ISP can release the new IP to Valve. If it becomes a big enough issue, Valve could request the ISP cut the user permanently from service.

@notagoodsitrep the thing is no valve isn't going to waste there time doing this especially since theirs thousands of hackers in any given game... and even if they go as far as ask the SIP if a given IP has and asked for the new one it could easily be changed again. Now lets say they go as far as request the ISP to cut the user it would take more then using a cheating device on a game for the ISP to agree as its business there loosing and if for the .01% chance they agree, there plenty of ISP...

The only time I've dealt with a hacker in TF2, was when I was a medic, and healing him, I couldn't tell he was hacking because we were in spawn, and he can't spaz if all the enemies are in front of him, then he walked up to the door and got kills through it, BINGO; now that guy is banned.

Not quite sure, but if you get caught hacking, you'll lose all the games that you have in your profile as well as ban, meaning if you bought games, they'll all be gone and you have to buy them AGAIN. You COULD try reinstalling TF2, but that'll just be a big waste of time.
