  • Was there in the early 70's at Hansen, when the only games that could be found off base or at the USO were Pachinko games...Got addicted to them

  • @pwprescott DUDE thanks for responding i did not know if anyone paid attention, there 78-79, i was a corpsman and would not trade my time on the rock or with the corps. so many changes, we had a lot of demonstrations when i was ther nothing to bad instigated by the mainland. most okis deep down know that if the corps and airforce left. there economy would go right down the toilet. i would give 3 mths and that island has adepression that would make ours in the 30's look like monoply

  • Freshness Burger has the best burgers I have ever eaten. The store is Make man (pronounced that way) Ma Donald's is no longer there, but they have added about 15 new stores.

  • @ylopz19 There's Casa De Taco which is just across from the main gate at Camp Courtney in Gushikawa.

  • @tusweetforu :  HA! That place has bee there for 30 years! There is/was a crappy little bar there too. Ill never forget the Yakatori and shrimp fried rice at that place, eat the yakatori and pour the sauce on the rice, that was the best.

  • Even if that was the case for a movie I was interested in, it cost too much.

  • fyi most foreign movies shown at theaters in Japan have original audio with Japanese subtitles.
