Pit bull attacks an Animal Control Officer

It really is a hard call. Pit owners stand up in defense of them, the ones who haven't been attacked by them that is, and Canine experts say they are a dangerous breed. People say it's the owners fault, but you see some stories, and hear testimonials by friends of the owners, who all say that the pit was well trained and friendly, then it suddenly turns. And others who say that theirs were docile all their life, up until death. So it's hard to call.

After what happened to my fully trained dogs I think that animal control officer should have made great dog food. They say you dont want your dog because you cant pay their fees for keeping them in a cage in their own shit and piss, but will sell them for far less than their ransom just so they can make money. My dog wasnt in the walk through at MADACC, but my wolf hybrids were and that was the last I saw them other than pics and vids. Really wish THEY FOUGHT INSTEAD OF RUNNING.

Pit bulls are capable of 3 different types of aggression. Territorial aggression which every dog has. Human aggression which any dog can be taught. And baiting aggression which is specific to the pit bull. All have reasonably easy fixes. Neutering prevents a dog from producing testosterone that with training will curb any territorial aggression. Socialization with instantly prevent human aggression. And animal socialization from a young age along with basic obediance training can control baiting

Originally bred as a type of water dog, the poodle is skillful in many dog sports, including agility, obedience, tracking, and even herding. Any dog that is kept secluded will be vicious. PERIOD. That's how guard dogs are trained. And when you don't socialize a group of dogs they become a vicious pack. Dumbass owner.

But there are many documented cases of pitbulls with little to no training and/or socialization not only living as family pets but exceeding the expectations of that role. Rottweilers and doberman pinschers were breed to attack humans not other animals like the pitbull was but we don't see anyone trying to ban them.

The dog doesn't have to be more vicious than any other breed and I didn't say it was, it just happens to be powerful enough to kill humans and it's vicious.
