  • chupa mama!

  • il bello e la bestia

  • perchè????perchhè?????proprio questa doveva rovinare???

  • I think shes just eye candy, nothing eles.

  • clever

  • gwen kills it,bloody hell live she rips it too peaces, bitch

  • I like both but the genius is besides the original is the sound and voice(s) but i believe the very original video was deleted of talk talk...I kinda know why...

  • Gwen gets credit for singing such a great choice of covers regardless of whether or not you like it. Few in her position of public scrutiny ever do anything cool other than sell shampoo.

Too bad Madonna doesn't do a version. The song needs some cougar to give it bite.

  • @theekrusher

Not Madonna please. She bastardized American pie - no more.

  • Honestly, I bet Mark would like it (even he ever spoke in public anymore....) She kept with the spirit of the song, but updated it to a more modern song (the original clearly sounds like a product of the 80s)

  • A little bit good. THANKS

  • Nice job ,thumbs up.

  • Gwen Stefany did a great tribute cover of this song.... i like both versions, i heard it first with Gwen Stefany but i like the oringial a bit more though....

  • I usually hate bootlegs, especially of one of my favourite ever tunes but this is well fucking done!!! Good on you Sirs/Madams!!!! Godspeed....

  • It's interesting how people are complaining about Gwens voice. Have you heard Marks voice, haha? FARRR from perfect people. I like his version only because he seems to have a lot of passion in his voice. His singing alone is not great.

  • Well, Mark still sounds great up a half step... ;)

  • PEACE PAIX PAX LOVE PRUDENCE TV INFOS TO FUKUSHIMA D S K B CANTAT TSUNAMIS KADAFI M JACKSON ETC .. PEACE PRUDENCE , CRIS , COOL DUO

  • Maybe try another version that would have them trading verses? I did go back and buy Talk Talk as the No Doubt version made me miss the original. But I don't own any No Doubt!

  • This is great!!!! Congrats

  • I usually hate remixes like this but I like this one. Good job.

  • she made a decent remake, for sure . not the same as the original tho.

  • Nice remix! I like the original the best, like most posters in here, but I think some are a little unfair to Ms. Stefani. I think she and her band (No Doubt) made a decent version and her voice is just fine for it.

  • Very good......Cheers for this.

  • Interesting idea/project & pulled off quite well. Obviously you can't beat Talk Talk original version but non the less, good work on this.... :D

  • this gives me goosebumps!! totally brilliant,,thankyou.

  • Interesting mix. Wish more people knew just how good Talk Talk were if only so they would discover the peerless Spirit of Eden album - which, whilst a commercial failure has influenced so many bands and musicians and stands as an incredible work.

  • PERFECT!!

  • Ugh...wow...this is painful. I guess she wanted to pay homage to Talk Talk but this is pretty much unbearable. I guess this is par for the course for the typical post-modern feminist tart. Day late, dollar short and better off forgotten. So glad I married a foreign girl. Can not imagine life stuck with a shrill harpy like this whatever her name is. Ick!

  • Gwen's squealing and nasal, squeaky-toy bleating is like sandpaper to my ears.

  • Such a Shame (another TT song from that album)

Just kidding. Her version is not unlistenable. The original is the best of course.

  • Not bad but I do find it interesting that she sings it just like he does. How original is that?

And, yes, Talk Talk's is obviously the better version. Long time fan. Almost thirty years of listening to them! Shit, I'm old.

  • gwen deserves credit for recognizing and covering this fine song. i think she does it justice and probably made money for talk talk, a band who deserves it. steve winwood played keyboards and piano on their album the colour of spring. that's a hellven of a compliment too. sorta like pearl jam backing niel young or jackson browne backing roy orbison. . .or m&m accompanied by rhiannon? or maybe biez, they byrds, and pp&mary doing dylan songs. it's all good music.

  • i prefer the one to the left speaker wayy more

  • superbe chanson de monsieur Mark Hollis , et il a fallu qu'une grosse morue en manque de pognon et de came vienne abimé se chef d'œuvre , va faire ta vaisselle grosse conne , tu me fais gerbé !

  • If everybody else can do it i should just make video's of myself doing karaoke then try to sell it.

  • I hope Mark got a lot of money from this cover because it is truly awful.

  • Mark Hollis nigdy nie nagrałby wspólnej wersji z tym... gów..., tzn. czymś... Nigdy!!! Dno!

  • There should be a law about stealing another band song and murdering it.

  • Gwen Stefani had no business touching this song.

  • Where is Mark this days/weeks/months and ofcourse the last jears, hopefully living his life. His band was one of the best things the 80's gave this planet. Any1 knows what he is doing or if he still makes music?

  • Jeez, folks. I mean I don't really care for No Doubt's version either (granted I think the original is one of the most PERFECT pop songs ever recorded), but from the way some of you are talking about Gwen Stefani you'd think she ate your children.

This is a pretty cool remix and shows just how close to the original No Doubt kept it. The original is still 10x better but this is an interesting listen nonetheless.

  • @SirHatchporch Why bother doing a remake of a song that is already perfect? Just sounds like a cheap way to make some money to me and should be illegal. There are patents on devices, machinery, pretty much anything you can think of but why is it ok to rip off music?

  • @darklordojeda I agree that remaking an already perfect song is pointless...but on the other hand, "perfection" is in the ear of the beholder. Also, I wouldn't call it "ripping off," since the original artist is always paid royalties whenever someone releases a cover. And I believe in some cases you have to actually request permission from the original artist before you cover the song.

  • @darklordojeda amen

  • Some of the people need to learn the difference between stealing and covering a song... yes Talk Talk are amazing, but their music isn't sacred. No-one's is.

  • hare gwen live, fuck me shes bad

  • no talk talk should not be remixed, not with that stupid music stealing bitch, leave it alone gwen

  • this loserish whore better get her OWN songs- she isn'nt worthy of "singing" Mark Hollis' art!

  • I hate you Gwen Stefani, this song was brilliant and you CANNOT ruin it you beyotch.

  • Molto suggestivo! L'originale è incomparabile ma comunque niente male anche questo "mix" :)

  • Quite interesting! and not bad...please puritans... let others live in peace! (:)) Long live Talk Talk and Mark Hollis

  • Gotta say she's better looking! Its a different take on the song thats for sure not sure I'm too struck on it, Prefer the original track with Talk Talk!

Just tried one of Marks solo tracks....... lost plot springs to mind, Oh well..........

  • do any real talk talk fans care about a mix ,no i dont think so,leave it out, gwen go and get ur own stuff

  • Absololutely ..I prefer Talk Talk!! Pani od Don't speak na drzewo!..albo na szczaw! he, he, he...

  • i love talk talk, got everything they ever did, been a fan since 82, but i think the no doubt version is fine. a really good effort. ok so her voice is too modern and in-yer-face emotional but it's far from being awful in my opinion

  • Bad! Very bad! :-(

  • horrible delete it dont touch Mark Hollis and Talk Talk thats cult.

  • Nice job, well done ! If they have a son together will become the first baby that sings instead of crying!

  • Excellent,very good job!

  • I'm impressed how this over dubbing was done...Mark does have a better voice and would have had more prominent in the recording...Just too much of Gwen!!

  • No doubt (pun intended), Talk Talk is a lot better.

  • bloody hell, cant these artists leave originals alone, gwen you suck big time

  • @cloudbuster66 Agreed. She butchered the song! Notice how these so-called "artists" today get their hands on classics and then kill them? ugh I can't stand her! Hollis' voice is amazing on the original!

  • She should be taken outside and shot for ruining what is a brilliant song.

  • yeah just unhooked the right earplug..

  • gwen stefani is what is wrong with todays music scene...totally horrible...and all the young ingnorant people who thought she wrote it

  • Gwen ?

    It's a shame !

  • lol, poor Talk Talk..

  • Oh God ... this is a perfect example how God awful Gwen is and she ruined a great song... I had to pan this song to the right to mute her out of tune voice.. Long live TALK TALK!!

  • bellissimo bravo mi hai fatto ritornare indietro quando ancora erogiovane e spenzierato bei tempi

  • Fantastic! I'd like Mark to be a little higher in the mix, but well done mate!!

  • What No Doubt did to this song is truly tragic... no doubt.

  • ugh Gwen's voice is awful...i've just got the left speaker turned on!!

  • Comment removed

  • quite a good remix, obviously the original is the best

  • Haha cool :)

  • well...there ya go

  • use headphones, mark hollis is on the left

  • no por favor que es esto?

  • Crazy idea, but i can hardly hear Mark Hollis.

  • It could be worse.
