I don't know why or how, but I beat this level on my first try on medium. However, I cried the entire time. To top it off I used the wizard like the whole time not realizing i could shoot obstacles instead of move them. :( I don't think I'm gonna try this poopfest again though just to do that, haha.
thanks for the vid. I realized i'd need all night to get through to that forsaken checkpoint and i dropped it. It's ridiculously difficult and the game interface doesn't really help for this stage
I was not prepared for the last level when I reached it. I'd gotten used to the set-your-own-pace feel of the game, and being thrown headfirst into that adrenaline-filled, run-for-your-f***ing-life, ohSHI- segment wasn't too pleasant.
And the ending was pretty dissapointing. I'm not sure what I wanted the ending to be, but it sure as hell wasn't that.
@rododendro24 I know exactly how you feel...after failing 20 times with normal difficulty at the last level lol... I now switch to easy and I just failed another 10 times lol... and still havent beat the game yet lol... I think I ma try again tomorrow lol
you're all a bunch of whiny spoiled kids. You think this level is too hard? come on man,.. when i was a kid we played Nintendo and Atari games and every game back then was much harder than this one level..It is a frustrating level but just keep playing and eventually you'll get it.
Or give up and go back to halo or something easier
This is 1 one of the allstar games in my opinion. Simple, addicting, and catchy. I have played this game trough now for 5 times. I fell completly to my own little world while playing. Also, soundtrack is one of the best ive ever heared, if i could rate this game from scale of 1 to 100, it would be 100
This one took me about 3-4 tries. Pain in the ass because it was mostly due to poor level design, getting pushed off by blocks that hadn't yet formed and then falling into the lava. Once the thief is dead, you're fucked.
'As each child mastered the fireball spell before the age of one.' LOL. Poor wizard. I thought for sure the painting would pan down to a harem of girls or something.
The game isn't really hard on that stage its just that the jumping+physics is poorly done making it seem hard when its poorly made for jumping like that. Also they game never presents this type of challenge until the end so your just tossed into a frustrating task without any preface, poor design, I guess thats why it was still indie and not a real publisher, overall the game was decent.
I don't really think its 'hard' per say, it's just that it is a total and complete change from the entire videogame up to that point. I mean, you get used to one play style, and then you get dumped in the end level demanding a totally new style of play. Its ridiculous for that reason alone. Very amateur game development and a #1 sure-fire way to piss off your players.
