The expectation of having a blast crater under the LM is flawed. The DC-X was a test flight program of a vertical takeoff and landing rocket. On one of its last flights, it made an emergency landing outside of the pad area. Despite the hydrogen/oxygen engine producing a thrust of some 60,000 pounds (about 20 times the thrust of the LM descent engine!), the engine produced a mark on the desert floor that was barely recognizable.
yup, wagging the moon doggie, however..they used the engine in spurts, remember they were almost out of fuel, so one last spurt above the surface and it touched down 60ft later, not needing the rocket to land, thats why theres no crater under the lander, it landed very softly. I beleive they went to the moon BUT rephotographed everything back on Earth for promotional and historical purposes, some even think Stanley Kubrick did it.
@Arpoximate yes...enough to blast off and get back...still not much fuel, rockets don't burn constantly, they use 'bursts' of rocket power. They point the craft in the direction they want to go and use bursts of power to get going then glide most of the way, how come you don't know anything about the Apollo missions, thats all in the history books, do your research...
Over 2000 people watched the landing on the moon and I am the only one to say WOW! I watched it with 15 senior citizens who were in their 90s. My dad worked on the Apollo 11 and his and the other guys signatures went to the moon!!! AWESOME..Now go and find the videos that show you what they found on the moon..and airbrushed out. Even more awesome!

they used antigravity engine, free-energy power sources, super-duper shielding and god knows what else of an alien technology
IMHO

@crittertv You say they were low on fuel.
How did they get back to Earth if so?
Were they carrying the many gallons of fuel on their small-sized craft needed to get back?

@crittertv I just asked to see how you would answer my question.
Me asking a question does not imply that I know little or nothing about the Apollo missions.
I've read and heard that they "use bursts of rocket power" from articles and teachers.
Again, simply asking a question.

Lunar laser retroreflectors installed in moon's surface by Apollo's crews are still working.
That's how the micro-pendular motion in Moon and Earth was discovered, due to asteroid impacts in the past.
