  • I love that GNER livery. Shame they are no longer around :(.

  • @EWS60008

    It is a shame :(

  • ONLY 7? SHOULD HAVE 8

  • @SuperHardTrance

They are actually a 9 car set (2 + 9), but it gets too long to fit in my fiddle yard at that length.

  • nice but i soo want a super detail hst but my dad says there too dear

  • @gtacrusher123

The new version is absolutely fantastic, excellent motor and detailing, well worth the month.

Although it is a far bit of money :(

  • @WindwardRailway and it can pull 9 carriges with ease

  • @gtacrusher123

    No problem at all.

  • @WindwardRailway and you can get more liveries but shame the hst carriges arnt super detail

  • @gtacrusher123

Yeah, the East Coast version is a limited edition.

The MK3 coaches haven't been updated in years, and looking a bit out-dated now!

  • @WindwardRailway they should come with new carriges

  • @gtacrusher123 same problem, not alot of money :(

  • @joetorsney also i wish they did a cheap class 43 network rail hst

  • @gtacrusher123

When it comes out, it's going to be £150 for the power & dummy car, then £44 for two coaches!

It's a shame Hornby have such cheap rubbish, then their good things are so over-priced.

  • @WindwardRailway yep true they need to sell stuff cheaper even starter sets because most kids would go for them

  • @gtacrusher123 yeah, try ebay or order from the railway modeller, bachmann 158s at £60, whereas bachmann sell them for £80-£100 :D

  • @joetorsney ok :)

  • I love the layout, wish mine was detailed as much.

I just want to know what is underneth the track is it actual gravel?

  • @lewdog12

    Thank you very much!

The ballast is actual stone chips for "N" gauge, even though the layout is "OO". This is because it is a better size than the "OO" gauge chips.

  • 1 coach to short

  • @SuperHardTrance

    2 short =(

You can't buy them in that old colour anymore, without the red doors, and it would be too long for the fiddle yard, so it'll stay at 2+7 for now!

  • @WindwardRailway i know what you mean man... its good tho

  • I Love Your Layout How Much Do The HST's Cost.. 5* btw ;)

  • @ThePborodan

Thanks, glad you like the layout! =)

The Hornby power cars (Front power, rear Dummy) are the latest from Hornby, the upgraded model from their previous version.

The front and rear car set can be bought for £99 on eHattons.

Coaches can also be found on eHattons for £19 each.

This means the whole train shown in the video is valued at £232 if bought new.

I would of paid slightly more as the TGS coach (2nd from front) is Lima, very rare before Hornby started to produce, paid £60.

  • @WindwardRailway Oh Thank You Might Buy If I have Enough Money!!! Haha

  • cool
