I will be keeping an eye out for this Bauer company. I am a fan of Bugatti Type 41 and it would be a dream come true if they would make all 6 of the existing Type 41s, maybe the prototype as a 7th Special Edition or something, that will be the day.
It's about time a reputable modelmaker makes 1/18 scale die-casts of these amazing cars. They've made two, can't wait for the next. A suggestion would be the Coupe de Ville Binder, which is quite similar to Coupe Napoleon. Ooops, daydreaming again...
@DanieruShidebuteru These models are pretty impressive (and sorry for the delay in getting back to you - for some reason, my inbox is a little wacky from time to time). I've also got the Esders car here - and we just saw Bauer's next effort, a Mercedes 500K, at Nuremberg.
Keep on dreaming - I think that Bauer will ultimately make every possible variation that they can mount on this chassis.
@Nikateer Hi - we've been told that the cars are sold out - BUT - you might want to try Dave Sinclair's Mini Auto in Pennsylvania. Or, try Carville Models, in Florida. Be ready to spend upwards of $650.00.
@Nikateer We're not really sure. The distributor told us that the models would be in short supply, but I understand that they're still available. They're brought into the country by Minichamps, NA, in Florida.
@dfreedlun Hi - Thanks! The car is pretty impressive. We recently reviewed the Esders in print in our magazine "The Car Room". Check out our site for more pics and info on it.
We returned the prototype to Minichamps (they distribute the model here in the US), but we're told a more refined and finished sample is on its way.
We keep adding videos as we make them, do stay tuned - and thanks for watching! You can also join us on Facebook.
It's a very cool car. We got the Esders roadster in, as well, and it's equally impressive.

I thought that my 1:18 bugatti veyron was good. The veyrons only bit of metal is the body. The rest is plastic. It may have perfect detail but it's still plastic. I'm thinking of getting the cmc bugatti Atlantic, a similar model (in it's detail) to this royal. Don't you just love it when people work this hard on detail. It only kills when a small child comes along and decides to push it down a hill.
I have exactly the same one.........never played with sits in a curio cabinet and in excellent condition.........anyone wants to buy it, let me know.Make an offer :)
I'm waiting for mine to yet arrive, this would be my most expensive die cast purchase ever and probably my closest chance of ever owning a Bugatti for that matter
Oh my god i'd love to by this model. Im building a plastic model kit of this car...but this is awesome.

@royalsteven One of the most expensive mass-produced 1:18 collector cars; as far as the real one, we keep hearing the word "priceless".
