@Henryduckfan63 The turkey/neck gag refers to the fact that, at Thanksgiving, Xmas, and other gatherings, the neck of the turkey usually gets neglected and ignored and not eaten (ie. not much meat on it). So why bother harvesting turkeys with necks if there's no point?
It's interesting to see the same gags WB used in the hands of another studio. I wonder if the "have you seen my boy" running gag is based on something outside of cartoons.
Can anyone make out what the first horse said? His punchline isn't reaching my ears for some reason. (Sounded like "draft horse," but that was the next gag after it.)
Thanks for posting this one, Larry! I've waited for years to finally see this! I certainly didn't think this was as bad as others at your blog did. I thought parts of it were actually quite funny. Certainly not one of Lantz's all-time best but not nearly their worst either.
Worlds first troll.

I agree with baxterfilms these gags come at you lightning fast. And none of them are funny either. That turkey/neck gag doesn't even make sense.

Simpsons DOES give you time. With this cartoon, it's just punchline then cuts too quickly to the next gag.

He said "Strut horse, get it?" (he's doing a dance move, known as a "strut").
