i only get a white screen when i boot itunes and start the update. thats when the white screen kicks in, but then it still gives errors :(

Oops found link in ur description. Is the ireb link a .dmg file. Or is it intel based. I have a dinosaur computer with a power pc g4 system. So I have to know this things.

Great clear instructions. but can u give the link for ireb? And just to be clear u

* open ireb and select device

* then put device into DFU mode

* then screen of device turns white

* then open iTunes and restore firmware for jailbreak

* AND FINALLY no errors and a jailbroken iPod touch 2G Did I get the instructions right?
