Ah, the good oul days of shareware where they give you a complete episode (about 8 levels) to play for free.

@adriansmithmusic Couldn't agree more. A lot of demos are pathetic nowadays and to be honest while Duke Nukem Forever looks good; I doubt I'll think much of the demo espeically when compared to the demo of D3D where you get to play all of L.A. Meltdown :) Undoubtedly this was one of it not the greatest demo of all time :D

0:32 look how the crosshair isn't pointing the npc. I believe tht this isn't 3d game and it's based on slide style. The NPC has width and length and its length is sticked to infinity up and down like in 2d doom 2 for example

@sashetoa This game is "2.5D" and builds on stacked sectors.. sprites/npc's have a defined length/width/height in this game, but it also has support for autoaim(Which may be the case in the video.).

2:20 - I am really curious why did they remove those doors... it would have a reason if they would've been there. In final version it appears that a cinema staff has to jump over the counter to get behind it. And they also moved the secret armor cabinet.

3:30 - They should have really kept these two lines of speech.

BTW: Did you notice the weapons hud is missing zero - a freezethrower?

in my cd of Terminal Velocity there is a preview images of Duke Nukem 3d with levels of the final version but enemies like the Android of Lame Duke and a more Tall Pig Cop o-o

Hey I'd love to see those pictures. A long time ago, I found a cardboard printout showing early snapshots of Duke Nukem 3D that showed a closer to final game, but with the laser gun from Lame Duke. Ever since then, I've been interested in trying to find some beta snapshots, but I've been unsuccessful so far.

The music is screwed up in this, actually it sounds like the BS driver with the setup program, also the shotgun sounds like a lower pitched pistol sound? And is it your brightness or is the pistol similar in colour to LameDuke's?

This version also used the unused pain sounds? And Duke says something when you open the cinema curtains? And haha, there's no intermission music.

Also, what the fuck at the 3rd episode title.. "Shutdown at ground zero"?
