Elk Hunt: How close is too close?

thats why one should always carry a weapon when hiking. you never know when a dangerous deer will come try and kill you. all my deer have been shot out of self defence. good thing i carry a bow when i sit in my contemplation stand ;)

ok, just wonder but in america elk and moose ISNT the same:)?

In America this is an elk, a moose is different. They generally live in Alaska or even Canada. Elk live in the western states.
