  • So nicely orchestrated with voice harmonics to match! Thank you for putting this lesser known version of this Cajun hit. This version was played often by the "Beautiful Music" FM stations of the mid sixties.

  • The best version!

  • nice, but no wher enear CLOSE to Bobbie Gentry...

  • I just found this song recently. I think the boys are great with fantastic harmony.

  • Gems like this show precisely why the Seekers are probably the finest group of all time. The depth of talent is incredible. The Boys not only can provide flawless instrumentals and vocals to Judith's peerless voice on lead, they can take lead themselves, and make this song stand out at the top of many, many other covers of "Louisana Man". Superb!

    Thank you Seekersarchive.

  • The best recording for the sond, I think. Thanx a lot for the upload!!!! Love it!

  • Thank you so much for putting this song on the "Tube". I was searching for songs that enlightened my youth, trying to find the titles with just a few words I remembered (that was back in the fifties). I came to your upload which was what I was looking for so much - thank you for bringing back these nice memories...

  • This is a gem. I have never heard The Seekers do a bad version of any song, whether it be their own music or a cover

  • @wasslic I fully agree
