One morning I woke up\ O beauty hello, beauty hello, beauty hello hello hello\ One morning I woke up and i found the invader\ O partisan take me away\ Cos I feel like dying\ And if I die as a partisan\ You must bury me\ Bury me up there in the mountains\ Under the shadow of a pretty flower\ And the people who'll walk by\ Will tell me what a pretty flower\ This is the flower of the partisan\ Who died for freedom.
Not find the translation because this is a popular song and there is dialect quotations, however a normal translator the sense of the song is understood ;)
In English the lyric could be (I don't translate the refrain because you alredy know it's meaning): "A morning I got up, O bella ciao, one morning I got up and I found the invader (the enemy). O partisan take me away, O bella ciao o partisan take me away, that I feel really bad (I'm not sure that it means what I wrote. Sento means I feel (in this sentence) and morir(e) means to die). And if I die as a partisan O bella ciao and if I die as a partisan you havo to bury me.
Bury me, there on the mountain, O bella ciao, bury me, there on the mountain, near a beautiful flower, and the people that will come there, o bella ciao, and the people that will came there, will say what pretty flower. This is the partisan's flower o bella ciao, it's the partisan's flower died for the liberty I hope that this translation is correct, because I'm italian.
@77JeyJey77 this is a kind of war song, which tells about a partisans and his beloved one: he wakes up one morinig ahd finds out that his house (read: country) has been invaded (by the Germans..). He leaves the house and asks the partisans brigade to join. He says to his beloved that if he die as a partisan, he must be buried in the mountains under a pretty flower, so that anyone who will walk across that road, will see that flower, which will be
