As a strong LEADER/CEO, Steve Jobs inspires, motivates, charms, demands, orders his employees to be the BEST that they can BE (maximize his employees’ potential) for the company, as well as for the customers' benefit!
“My job is NOT to be easy on people. My job is to take these great people we have and to push them and make them even BETTER.”
It took Steve Jobs' biography for me to realise how incredible this moment was. As a relatively new Apple devotee, and after years of growing up in a Windows household, I remember being blown away by the unveiling of Leopard after a friend told me how amazing Mac's were, and how excited I was on my 16th birthday to unwrap a brand new MacBook. The iPod, iPhone, iPad et al are blown away by the innovation of the original Mac. So hard to imagine how much of an amazing moment this would have been.
hundreds of years from now when Technology is going to be beyond anyones imagination, this moment will be remembered in history books forever as the birth of the modern personal computer.
Steve Jobs, a 56 year old billionaire who took advantage of thousands of working kids making products he sold to people who didn't need them at a price they could barely afford.
That music got me goosebacks, it was truely amazing. God we came a long way in the last 30 years! RIP Steve, the World will never forget your achievement!
Respect for this MAN and for his genious. He surely change the way we look at PCs (I remember when I was in middle school, the first year there were all macintosh computers, they were great) R.I.P.
A true pioneer who changed the world, literally! R.I.P Steve Jobs. If you're reading this you should consider donating to Cancer research or any other charity that helps those with Cancer, it's a worthwhile cause and they are doing great things.
This is how powerful a man's vision can become revolutionalizing and touching lives of a generation , making it possible for us to have computer at home and according to this video , Computers that we can LIFT . Respect .RIP Steve , may be the gods needed there own line of Apple poducts.
I do feel sorry for Mr. Jobs and his family but can someone explain why the death of one multi billionaire generates more sorrow and sadness than the death of millions of starving kids?
i was about 9 or 10 when these PC's arrived at my Elementary School, all I could was stare at it and think...'how do I turn it on? and what does it do?"
imagine if someone's iPhone started ringing in the audience, what's that sound? oh, it's just my iPhone, oh okay for a second there I th-MMMGGWWAAAAAAAAAT?
SJ resigned yest (2011-08-24). krikey, this is like my grandpa passing, all over again... who else in computers has ever had that sense of style and flair ?? t'was a major reason computer stuff appealed to me behind the tech itself. Funny article doesn't mention watershed that was OSX, with Apple's previous ROMs based on, egad, PASCAL!! Talk about removing the major obstacle by adopting UNIX basis!
