Can someone help me learn the two measure bass thing? I can't find a recording. I have only been playing bass for a year and I can't read jazz music. I suck and I have no clue how to do it and I can't find a recording. I probably repeated myself a lot but I don't care, I'm desperate. Please help!
@mrbutternice I'm playing that for the Essentially Ellington thing tomorrow, my suggestion is to take it first at half the measure then include the whole measure then include both measures then lead up to that measure with the 2 5 1 before it.
