I think few people realize Power Rangers is a japanese show called Super Sentai. All the action sequences are taken from the show, and spliced in with english actors.

@sil40Drift no, that red car has the driver side on the right just like the cars in Japan. I don't know why they wanted to use it in this show instead of a left driver side. And by the way, Power Rangers has their own team of Japanese stunt actors as well. They just fight "Power Ranger" style with all the sweet wire stunts and explosions compared to Sentai. Not all morphed ranger fights are the actual Japanese footage. We have our own American morphed fight scenes too.

@TheCodeV You are right that it's not Japanese footage, all I was saying that it's possible that they have right hand drive in New Zealand. Dillon's muscle car was left hand drive and Flynn's truck was left hand drive as well though, so without looking it up I don't know. But you're right, this scene isn't from Go-Onger...seeing Dillon in front of the car and the morphed (costumed actors) is a giveaway.

Tell someone that the female rangers have male stuntman under the suits and watch the reaction (and yes, I realize that sometimes there are female stunt actors in them, but not always). RPM is probably the most "American" series, but of course the Japanese still helped immensely in the production.

If you look closely at the rear shot you can see the Helmet of the driver on the right hand side.

This means it can only be a Silvia or a European market silvia (200sx) why? Because theres no logical reason to make a LHD car RHD. LHD is cool and uncommon there like making cars RHD is here so it would most likely be left that way.

PhilEve21. It has been stated but..the car he is driving is a 94-98 Nissan Silvia. The Silvias came with 2.0 liter turbo charged engines, they are Rear wheel drive and relatively light weight. Good cars. In America this car was also sold from 94-98 under the name "240sx" because it had a 2.4 liter NON turbo engine (2.40, 240sx). For all intents and purposes they are the same car in appearance and function, just with different engines.
