This is one of the better versions of this that I've found available on youtube. The tempo is much better than the others, which often feel too rushed. In this version, I can really hear and appreciate the different voice parts without everything seeming like a big mush. Also props to that intense violinist 2:25
Congratulations! Bach is never quite 'easy'.... and for a choir singing in a foreign language you're doing very well! Lots of lovely moments of music in your rendition. Thanks a lot!
Bravo. This is absolutely tearjerking. Thank you, conductor and choir, for your attention to the sensitivity of this piece. I could use a little more text from the soprano but overall, amazing.
Excellent performance! I'm delighted that a college-level choir can do such a complicated and tweedly-twiddly work so accurately and sensitively! Great work. :) I want the closing "Alleluja" performed in my memory when I go. It's Bach's own personal ode to joy.
They were wonderful Yes, but I heard the Chicago Childrens Choir perform this. They were amazing!!!!!!!!! Teenagers doing this piece! You must hear the Childrens Choir perform it. It sounds about 10 times better than that. It truly is remarkable to hear teenager perform such a masterpiece.

This I think is by far one of Bach's most difficult motets due to the phrasing and german syllables
