@RedGal91 First of all you need to download the firefox addon "Greasemonkey" and than you simply install a script that allows you to see videos which are uploaded on megaupload via divx without downloading them. :D On the mainpage is a red box with a gray link inside. click on it and install the "ICE Quick Stream" script. (you can only install it if you have installed greasemonkey). This site is just great :D.

they planned these 2 films in the same time period, the used the same concept as the alien films formula, the first one is a stranded in the dark with no weapons and being hunted, when in the second, now armed troops are involved going to destroy them. the first one used alot of resident evil themes with survial horror and finding keys.

2) the reporter (main character) in the american version has a completely different personality to the spanish one. i found it hard to give a shit about her in quarantine.

3) the spanish reporter is hotter

4. camera movement is better in Rec. quarantine has that "forced shakey cam" feel

@uberd0gAlpha i disagree i think the acting of the principal characters was specific and consistant, you may have just not liked their choices i guess, like you said about the reporter. when a film is reproduced, you should know that it is seldom never the goal of a director or actor to recreate another's performance or portrayal, there isnt much in the text that gives you specifics about her personality. it is possible that the camera moved a little to much for your taste, but it was done well.

@MyMothersBlackJeans I preferred Rec too. Quarantine didn't suck at all, but I think it isn't as good as the original (unless you can't read subs, obviously). The actors, characters, camera movement (very important) sound design, timing etc - are slightly better in Rec in my opinion.

In [REC] you can hear screams off the distance and just some little stuff like that, that makes the movie more realistic and more scarier. Also Quarantine had more logic behind the movie unlike [REC] and in horror movies there shouldn't be a logical reason behind it all. In [REC]2 people explain the problem more in depth but its still hard to understand some things so yeah :D Hope that help and this was my thoughts so :D
