  • you should play pi 3.14

  • Comment removed

  • Indeed, music is the symphonic counter part of mathematics!

  • sounds nice !

  • how did you go about putting this into notes?

  • mooi!

  • Good thing we can hell see the keys since your hands aren't covering them up the whole time.

  • slow it..... way down & balance the Lower Tone...find the space between Notes...if you try

chanting softly( not for camera) you will see you need to connect to the Source...your playing reflects your inner so i suggest a Spiritual Program of Toning,

Tuning your" own apperatus" thru chanting, meditation, Yoga, Nature...* Peace*

  • Tool - Lateralus

  • pubblica

  • How do you transcribe a number to music?

  • sounds like lateralus

  • @freakngeckos That song is also based off of the golden ratio.

  • You placed stickers on the keys . . . odd

  • cool!

  • music is pure math (physics) but, is the motif? the sequence of intervals? the key? how it becomes phi? please explain!.... thnks

  • @realcucus the musical creation is simply the intent to convey whatever the subjective distinctions of the artist were

  • hooww the hell do you put math to sound¿!? can someone please tell me this.

  • @nanocalp all Music is math to sound.

  • Would like to hear the complete piece.

  • we estimate the same way.

  • beatiful

  • Yeah, I feel the quantity of the pattern is like 1:1.618~ , but it's like a theory in 2 dimensions and rhythm, BPM aren't really the ratio. I don't know how to compose awesome music, but if everything became like a circle or sphere, it would be awesome.

  • How related to 1.618

  • good- is it possible that math and music are the same but just in a different form?

  • @Romovisque math relates to everything in the world

  • @Romovisque everything is math and vibration at its center

  • @Romovisque The better question is not wether math or music are the same, but are reality and math the same?

  • @TheCopaceticMan "Are reality and math the same?" What do you mean? New to this subject. Thanks.

  • @Romovisque Let me get derivatives down first, then you come up with the proof for that. Lol

  • make it in midi

  • i think it was well played

  • Thanks for sharing this!

  • THAT's IT! That's the tune that's been in my head for 4 years now and I've been whisteling it too!

Why did it take so long till I found this :(

  • too fast, i wanted to enjoy it, but that nagging feelin in the back of y head that kept trying to slow it down mentally was spazzing my nerves. not to mention you keep changing the beat speed on the chorus

  • Hey mate could you write down the keys?

  • wow you're really good, but i think it was played a bit too quick, and it didnt have much... character. know what i mean? just tryin to help ^_^ other than that, you play excellently!!! xox

  • Abit quick and lacking SOUL. mechanical. keep playin, baby

  • too quick! otherwise good playing. keyboard could use a little tweaking but good

  • Well done. I would really encourage you to slow it down. The first time segment you play doesn't make me think much of the original because it's just too fast to carry with it the relaxed feeling that I get from this song. Once you slow it down a little bit then I can feel it a little more in your music.

  • Not bad. Of course, this only makes me want to listen to the actual song again, but that means you did well!

  • its sweet ,

  • DAAAAAMN, you killed this shit, that was awesome, real talk!!!!!

  • Bravo, colonelsnakeeyes182!

    Greetings

  • keep up... maybe what's missing is additional ambient background hums.. generate that and i guess it would be like drops of water to leaves flown through smooth breeze of air... i don't know how exactly they do it.. maybe through multi-levels of piano, or it's pre-recorded.. or maybe i'm just to into finding ambient musics among the basic tunes ehehehe

  • what is missing is a nicer piano sound, slower playing, and the sustain. This looks like a cheapo keyboard from K-mart to me.

  • that was pretty good

  • way to go buddy, def slow it down a bit and maybe position your camera so we can see the notes to play, I wouldn't mind learning how to play it too. 1.618 is one of my favorite songs, nothing else is like it!

    Keep it up man,

    Matis.

  • sounds like music off chrono trigger

  • Yeah, yeah, so it was fast. But it was still good. :)

  • Ok, since all the comments have been saying "Played too fast" I'm gonna do it again and I'm gonna upload it soon, stay tuned, I'm hoping to do all the TBU songs.

    C.

  • Soon uh? :P

  • ok well i kind of lied about the soon thing, but it will happen

  • @colonelsnakeeyes182 once again cunt, soon uh?

  • @colonelsnakeeyes182 it will happen uh? :P

  • @colonelsnakeeyes182 kind of lied?

  • @colonelsnakeeyes182

    haha you have no skills.

  • Agreed.. i know as a musician, it's easy to play the songs as fast as comfortable. However this one is different, a huge part of what makes the simple song beautiful is the emotion and depth played - which you only achieve by taking to feel the music. Best of luck and happy music playing. :)

  • Playing it too fast.

  • Yeah, sure i agree i did play it a bit fast, but when your playing it in front of a camera its a different story. Yeah I realized later on that I played it a bit too fast. I'm gonna put up some more videos of me playing songs from 'This Binary Universe' soon.

Oh yeah, next time I'll be sure to 'Feel' the music as I play it....

    C.

  • played too fast, and standing up????

sit down, relax, and play the music for what it is, not just to play it. Sure your not BT, hes a musical genius, awesome music he has.. You know the notes, try playing it slower, get to feel the music as you play it.
