I noticed ya forgot to put in a foldable saw in there, since ya dont bring a big survival knife, need something to cut down branshes etc when you locked yourself out and have to spend the night in the back garden in a shelter, oooooh and a firesteel incase all those lighters gets wet :)
Have you ever used your radio set? They usually don't carry far unless there are no obstructions in between. Buildings, hills and trees will interfere unless they are a quality, high power set. I bought a $60 Cobra set and a single house between users rendered them useless. They decorate the bottom of my "extras bag". Nice vid!
you should update your flashlight....fenix, 4sevens and nitecore make some great not so expensive but really good flashlights....nice pack and everything btw...
Hi, I keep seeing so many this kind of bags... do people really carry these around everyday ? why ? I also know there are thing called survival Kit, which is a great idea, but where would you keep it? In a car or at home?
@darb1017 I have an EDC on me almost all the time when I walk out the door; on top of that I have a day pack which is kited out more extensively for medical emergencies and survival should I not be able to get back home do to natural disaster and the like. it also makes it so I never need to go back for anything should I want to spend the night else where, will also help if my house ever burns down :-p
@urkingod There are a number of kinds of survival/emergency kits. You want to have a Bug Out Bag (BOB) at home. I use a military surplus MOLLE pack for my bob. A bob would have 3 days worth of supplies in it. In a car you want a Get Home Bag (GHB), That has items to help you get home if you are stranded somewhere. It's also good to carry stuff with you every day. Like what you see in this video. Other videos can give you more info. Also check out the zombie squad website. They have tons of info.
@urkingod As far as why I carry stuff. It's mainly for convenience. If I get a cut, it's very convenient to have a first aid kit. If there is something I want to look at and light is low, a flashlight comes in handy. If you rip your pants, safety pins are rather handy. The list goes on. Carrying stuff makes your day much smoother. Having the right tool for the job keeps those small every day problems from turning into disasters.
I'm trying to figure out how this is an EDC system. Is it because it has 20 pens for taking notes, or the 5 lighters for starting fires in an urban environment.....? Okay I'm done picking on you. I do like the bag though.
@fighting17chicago EDC = Every Day Carry. If you carry it with you throughout your day, then it's an EDC.
It's not what you carry that makes it an EDC, it's the fact that you carry it. Most people carry a wallet, keys, and cell phone every day. That stuff counts as EDC.
Nice video man, going back and forth on wether to buy the jumbo or fatboy. I like the design and compactness of the fatboy, but I'm not sure if it's going to hold all the gear i want with me. Anyway, what I was going to ask was; what is that organizer called? The one you keep the pens in. Is that a maxpedition product aswell?
I had never heard of Maxpedition until I was Tokyo with a friend and saw them at a store that sold military stuff. I bought a couple Versipacks, one for me, one for a friend. I absolutely love it, but I wish mine was a little bigger. I have the regular one, not the jumbo. Thinking of upgrading. I kind of go back and forth between that and my Camelbak M.U.L.E., the military one with the molle attachments outside.
I would carry a backpack except for the CCW, the weight displacement with the Jumbo....after an hour or so, you need to/should switch it to the other side. I don't mind that, but some do. I feel as though Maxpedition could have done a better job with integrating more MOLLE. There is some but only enough for a small and a VERY small pouch (2x2 on one side of the strap and 1x2 on the other). They should nix the Velcro area for MOLLE webbing.
I noticed ya forgot to put in a foldable saw in there, since ya dont bring a big survival knife, need something to cut down branshes etc when you locked yourself out and have to spend the night in the back garden in a shelter, oooooh and a firesteel incase all those lighters gets wet :)

Your purse with the pretend soldier equipment is very nice. One thing, you need more lighters and pens though.

@urkingod I don't see why it cannot be carried everyday. Its just a man-purse after all.
