Наші вітання з Коломиї Великому Ключеву! Прекрасний відеоролик! Дякую! Чи можна десь побачити виступ шановного паньства в гуцульському строї? Ukrainians are the fine, cheerful and talented nation! Слава Україні!
wow, I'm from those places. I was raised not so far from Kolomiya, which I went to like every week. I'm from the village Yabluniv, Kosiv's district and I wonder if there are any clips of my Yabluniv but so far couldn't find any
I'm a huge fan of your channel. Not only is the material priceless, but you also provide a very detailed description of each video. Great job!
I was born and raised in Kolomiya(Kolomija)and moved to NJ in 1999 after graduating from college. I know who Mykola Savchuk is, but had no idea he is such a great dancer!

His name is Mykola Savchuk. He is a journalist and amateur folklorist; he has written a pamphlet (in Ukrainian) about the dance Hutsulka. He also is a "humoryst" or comedian with some degree of recognition in his part of Ukraine. He once did a comedy tour of Ukrainian diaspora communities in N America some yrs ago. He's a musician (accordion) who used to play in a wedding band, and he has a CD of very authentic Hutsul music he recorded. His home village of Velkyj Kljuchiv is near Kolomyja.
finally authentic ukrainian dances - please post some more. All i've ever seen was moisoyev inspired stylized stuff - this is definitely refreshing. Thank You!
also, I read recently in a thesis about ukrainian-canadian tsymbaly players that the hutsulka was actually preserved among immigrants to western canada for a little while but eventually faded out.
there is a cool video of a hutsulka being played by jewish musicians in nyc at a dance house this past year, if you look it up

Hutsuly are highlanders and are proud people as all highlanders are. Beuatiful people, rich heritage they remind me of the Caucasus people
Гуцули є горськім народом, сильні, горді, памя'тають традиції, в тому числі і танцювальні. Як ними не пишатися?
