The Gas Club is long gone. It was an actual former gas station located on the Lower East Side of New York City at the corner of Avenue B and 2nd St., (an area that was a slum for many years and was called "Alphabet City" because of the lettered Avenues: A,B,C,and D). Performances and art shows were held there. Parts of the Lower East Side still look the same as years ago, but it's mostly filled with trendy bistros and shops now. GG Allin was a no-talent tool, by the way.
