  • Not ALL Muslim women do that. But I'm glad these ones do :)

  • So go to morocco and see how muslim women live ...same it is shown in the video I mean the majority is free and working girls. In fact in saudi arabia it is different not because of islam but because of culture and the prophet was fighting against women's repression. He always gave the example to of Madine's women who were respected active and joyful unlike women from mekka. Women repression is more a tribal issue !

  • why don't you film what will happen when they are close to the majority. Go to the countries that are majority muslim to show the truth. Muslim is a pagan religion. even the symbols are pagan. Allah is the moon god symbol is the crescent moon. the star symbol is for one of his 3 daughters. They have distorted the Bible and Torah to bring your guard down while they take over. I have sen what muslims are really like not the cartoon muslims of the USA.

  • Yes live by the Quran not by culture or traditions.

In any religion there is oppression by non believers of God.

  • 1:09 WTF ! haha

  • It is amazing how muslim women jump to explain how free are they every time someone accuse them of being opressed.

  • :)

  • :)

  • Masha=allah sisters, I am very happy for you :)

  • It is really nice to see Muslims being regular people. Please do not give up on the Hijab, prayer, fasting and all that but I like it when I see Muslims being like totally friendly.

  • Next time 'm in trouble I'll call her 1:02

  • This is a great video, great look on muslim women in western country.wish it's longer

  • But if you're intellectually honest, you would have to admit that Muslim women living in Muslim countries, and not in the west, do not have the same freedom or experience that Muslim women living in western countries have.

  • @ancienthibernian well that was befor why do think all the noise in the middle east is for people are changing the real muslims are trying to reach out and not the red necks of islam we also belive in freedom and were about to prove a point

  • @ancienthibernian Than it means that there's something wrong with the way the country is run! (pardon my language). Muslims everywhere have the same guidelines and that should make living in a Muslim country more easy. It's the culture that's making Islam look bad. It's the hold on very archaic beliefs that men are the master and women are slaves. That is totally opposite from the prophet's teachings. The best of man is the one who makes his wife happy. Study how the prophet lived his life.

  • @dreams979 i saw a muslim woman today she had a hijab, high heels, makeup, sexy clothing valueing her body curves..im not trying to fight but what happens if a guy(stranger) turns a muslim woman on?? what does she do? where im from some muslim women are modern..they flirt..and this happened quite a few times with me...i think ur suppressing a natural human instinct by disallowing them to do what they really want. the woman im talking about cleary wanted to be attractive. is it wrong?

  • @ancienthibernian

    No this is not true!!

i do live in a Muslim country and i'm studying in France "alone", and it's my father who finance my studies!

don't you think it's a kind of freedom?!

  • @ancienthibernian So Islam is not only about freedom. Its about attaining heavens with full right to enjoy this world within the basic bounds of islam. If uncovering reveals women in public its anti islamic. The catholic nuns are not even allowed to marry which so anti human, a torture to her desires & islam allows more than one wife which adheres to the man's nature of sex, whose intellectually honest? The world appears yellow if u'd put yellow glasses. Grow up.

  • @concerty2k

look becoming a nun is a free will choice not forced on them

  • @ancienthibernian shut up that's not true cuz i'm muslim!

  • Well done!

  • This has to be the most beautiful thing I've seen in a very long time. Jazakullah/thank you! Much love!

  • Love it! MashaAllah!

  • 6:22 LOL! TRUE ALPHA MALE.

  • This is such a cute video mashAllah! 3:18 really cute!

  • luv this video =D ~~~~~muslim girl from Malaysia.

  • I don't know what faith some of my 'social friends' friends are, I don't care I just like them. But let me say that 7:05 is the BEST 'How we met' story I've ever heard!

  • Other than once a year when they get grumpy caz their fastling, lol!

  • 4:00 that is one ignorant man

  • OMG LOOK HOW OPPRESSED THEY ARE!!!! :O TERRORISTS!!!!1111ONE!!13-2

  • 'Well I like women doesn't matter if they're muslim or not' hahaah

  • great video ma sha Allah you should remove the music from it tho' but good I enjoyed watching it ;)

  • I gree with the other guy who say they stick to their value, which is to do with responsiblity of family including their communities while the westhern indulges in greedy selfishness. most people who were from what is call third world countries are doing that without even being a muslim. you ruin your culture and try to potray others culture is bad.

  • LOL! HAPPY WIFE HAPPY LIFE!

  • I LOVE IT!!!! DO IT AGAIN THIS YEAR 2012!!!!

  • "Well... I like women so.... doesn't matter if they're moooslim or not"

lololol the way he said that made me lol XD

  • The idea to make a system where the majority won't impose on the minority, the idea that people have a right to choose their own lifestyle, the idea that people have the right to work, be educated,...

That's what makes these women normal, not islam. This just makes you see why western culture is better then religious fundementalism.

  • @Bulloxe4 what you described is islam. there is no compulsion or imposing in islam. islam gives civil liberty and rights to women. education is mandatory upon each male and female. women are free to work, vote, own property, choose their life partner, take part in battle, join politics, lead people as leaders, ... this is islam.

  • @nosayy

I don't deny religion has a personal meaning. But the key word here is personal. Religion is on the contrary to personal level always proven disasterous on a larger, social or political, scale.

So, yeah, these women are normal. Good for them. And their neighbours.

But do we want Islam to be an element of any government on this earth? Is a society based on Islam fair?

These women are muslim, but they live in a non-muslim society. So they're not a good example of what we're talking about.

  • @Bulloxe4 as hard as you may find it to believe, the answer is actually yes. when islam is implemented in its true genuine form, it creates better society and government. it provides solution to many social/political/legal problems. today, almost no islamic country is doing that. and the reason for that is people in these societies put culture, traditions and customs over religion/islam. islam comes secondary to them. and the rest of the world thinks "that" is what islam is.

  • @nosayy

"when islam is implemented in its true genuine form, it creates better society and government."

-> Can you name an example when this was shown to be true?

I understand that you and your family live a good life under Islam ( again, personal level ), but you are right when you imagine that it's hard for me to imagine Islam creating a better society and government.

Unlike the separation of church and state, Islam has no precedent of working well on a government level.

  • @Bulloxe4 in the early years of islam the lands where islam was the rule of the state, people enjoyed living in peace, harmony, and justice politically, socially, culturally. present day example dubai is probably the closest one. afghanistan used to be one in its old days (u could even leave ur jewelry shop out in open unattended & nobody would steal anything) until foreign countries came, waged wars, and messed everything up...starting with british to now usa/pakistan/and the others.

  • @nosayy

Well, I did a google news search of Dubai and you know what I found out. It's not paradise on earth. You can go to jail in Dubai if you have sex outside of marriage. It doesn't matter if you're not a muslim or from Dubai. And that's just one example. I'm not saying Dubai is fucked up like Afghanistan or Iran, I'm just saying it's not the justice league.

And I'm sorry, but I just don't buy that Islam is holding Dubai in such a prosperous state. The credit for that goes to black gold.

  • @Bulloxe4 what do u expect no laws & no punishment? in islam sex outside marriage is a sin, forbidden. so of course there is punishment for the crime, and there should be one. and if you live there, you are expected to abide by its laws, muslim or not muslim. your idea is that the country should install different sets of legal systems for each different belief systems? lol You abide by the laws of the land where you live, regardless of what ur race, religion, gender, background is.

  • @Bulloxe4 and yes it's for betterment of society. while here in the west people are fighting against growing number of all kinds of sexual diseases, unwanted pregnancies, murdering/discarding newborn babies, broken families, date-rapes, unwed moms at the mercy of state welfare...to name a few examples, islamic countries, like dubai, don't have these societal problems and enjoy a clean, healthy social environment.

  • @Bulloxe4 it's not that islam doesn't provide a good system, it's that people don't use it the way it's meant to be used/implemented and even misuse it. like democracy was designed to create check & balance b/w 3 branches of govt so not one would abuse its given power, but leave it to people to abuse the system and now you get NDAA signed into law that violates the constitution itself. is democracy the problem or the people that misuse it? same analogy with islam. people misuse it.

  • @Bulloxe4 i'm a free, independent muslim woman whether when i'm living in USA, saudi arabia, dubai, afghanistan...you name it. my family has no objection whatsoever to whatever i do. we understand the true islam. those families where women are not treated right, those families lack knowledge of islam and what it teaches. they care more about what society will think of them rather than what islam/God asks them to do. ignorance.

  • @Bulloxe4 what we see in some parts of the world is culture replacing islam. traditions and customs take priority over islam, and that's what we see. culture. not islam.

  • @Bulloxe4 So you're saying you have to adopt western culture in order to be a normal human? That's ridiculous. Islam doesn't control other country's policies. Islam doesn't control the fact that women aren't allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia. It's the country's decision, not what the religion is preaching.

  • @Padishyia

What I'm saying is you have to adopt the modern term government. Mainly, have a constitution which protects basic rights of your citizens and is religiously neutral. Really, can we be so naive to think that Islam has nothing to do with the fact that women have less rights in islamic countries like Saudi Arabia.

I'm sorry but this, it's not true Islam it's culture seems like bullshit to me.

  • When a women shows her body the respect it deserves then men can show her the true respect she deserves who is the man gonna look at the half naked women or the fully covered women? when a women covers herself a man cant marry her 4 her outside he has to get to know the inside 1st then he gets 2 know you 4 who you really are and not for you outside appearances, then the man can respect you and love you for who you really are and you will be more beatiful in his eye no matter what you look like!

  • why do so many say Islam oppress women? when more women in this world convert to Islam then men do, so if Islam is oppression then there must be worst opression in the non Muslim world, witch there is! telling women they have to look like the women on the magazine,tv,movies..ect to be beautiful they have to dress half naked for me to want them, telling them they have to look as young as possible they cant have wrinkles...ect this is all from dominant male companys just making money off you!

  • i Love this video <3

  • i like to heard when to Girl said "Believe It Or Not" :D

    At 01:45

  • Sounds like you are a clever and creative person!

  • Thanks for opening my mind to a world I have never known before. I have never really been prejudiced but definatley had society oppressed views of how I thought of muslims. I don't think we should post ugly comments about their religion. Just because some muslims do bad things doesn't mean all do. It is the same way with American society, I am not like the sick people shooting up the schools, my family isn't part of the obesity epidemic, and I don't agree with the war in the middle east.

  • @morelshroomgirl very well said

  • @morelshroomgirl God bless you! thhis is how a good and smart person should be. thank you

  • that's just good

    god bless everyone

  • @mrfrednoname No, that's American imperialism that's the most violent today. 1 million dead in Iraq, 8 in 9 innocents for every drone attack, wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and they still cater to the house of Saud....I mean Oil. The didn't support Egyptian Revolution, nor Peace for Palestinians and Jews, they turn a blind eye to Burma and human trafficking is at an all time high in the U.S. There's that whole market crash, $13 trillion to bankers while 1 in 4 children go hungry, etc.

  • @iPriestHolmes Actually I don't know about other two cities, but since I'm from Karachi I know that women aren't killed. In fact they have clubs and the city is highly influenced by Indian/Pakistani culture.

  • ISLAM is misunderstood

  • 'Mash’allah' to Muna & Samir’s story !! (around 7:30) :)

  • @iPriestHolmes i assure u , u haven't gone to Mogadishu , That country is hell , I don't think you would have survived back alive simply

  • I love this video!!! keep up the good work!!!

  • I truly looove this initiative ♥! May Allah A'zawajeul make it a huge success in breaking down barriers about who we are are and we truly stand for: justice, equality, love, mercy, modesty and decency in our servitude to the ONE in whose hands is the dominion of the Heavens and the Earth and through the perfect example of Rassul Allah SAW - Ameen! Thumma Ameen!

  • Ahh, isn't it lovely? How do I convert to Islam?

  • interesting project

  • Great video!

  • please, don't be so negative, please come to Malaysia. there's more than we can tell you. see it by yourself. it's like a heaven. i'm not into politics. not a chance.

  • alhamdulillah for islam!!! if you are still doing this documentary you should think about doing muslim women in different states. This shed some light on how the sisters live in TX masha allah

  • @iPriestHolmes Dont lie .

  • @TheAntagonist87 There r many videos on youtube showing da usual lives of Saudi women living in Saudi Arabia, having happy lives and usual jobs. There r many satisfied but most ppl don't tell others abt their lives just 2 prove they r not oppressed! There r female doctors, professors, etc in KSA just like elsewhere! Some demand driving some don't! They get a car on call! They've luxurious lives most women dream 2 have! They wear wat they want but in gatherings, weddings, homes, family, friends, etc.

  • @Love100045 yup and in parts of saudia it is required that you be a female to be an obgyn!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Mashallah and may Allah bless you for sharing this wonderful vid.

Very positive and lovely.i wished we have vids like this on tv.

    Much lOve.

  • Ok Guys. Im an American Muslim Woman (born and raised), and i beleive that i have all of the rights that Islam grants me within a "free" country (i know that can be argued if its free or not). Ive also been to saudi arabia (where my husband works). Two different worlds completely. I Always have respect for Saudi women, However, i do not believe that all of them wear Niqab because they BELIEVE it in it themselves. it's the oppressive culture. no offense

  • @fadiisabella Some don't wear niqab even! However, the majority are strict about this nd think it is very respectful, they even advise women who don't cover their hair and they even reason why they cover from the Quran and Sunna.I don't know if you have dealt with them; they use fragrances, manicure, makeup nd taking care of their body, they buy da fashionable clothes in malls nd dress up in weddings nd at work as those r gender-separated.It's a culture they r part of so they agree to it!

  • @iPriestHolmes Been to Karachi and still think it was influenced bu Islam? Either you visited in passing or made up your thoughts without looking at the realities or something like that. I come from there and it is hard to practice Islam and not be ostracized by the people.

  • A lot of people can't believe that a lot of muslim women in their own countries not just in the united states live their lives normally and that they are educated, got a job and drive their own cars without having to worry about being stoned to death if they aren't it's not because they are muslims or because of Islam it's because of their circumstances

  • @iPriestHolmes don't see islam partially, you see islam don't see moslem that doing bad thing or sin cause u never find the secret message from Alloh, cause it's sound that Alloh going to filter the people who's really the believer and struggle to guidance from him

  • Its true that muslims all over the world has forgotten the true teachings of islam but still many ppl do practice properly , you all must study thoroughly the religion islam not the muslims . insead of taking comments and experiences from others and so called hearings of others . definitely then you may understand what islam is and what a good muslim needs to be and why .....

  • My problem is not with how Muslim women are treated in general, particularly in first world areas where they actually have rights. My gripe is with what fundamentalists do to their women in places where women are treated like cattle. That's the difference for me.

  • @iPriestHolmes........... Actually Muslim women in Iran may be freer than Muslim women in America. One of them just won an international science contest. They are also international soccer champions. They occupy every aspect of The Iranian government. They were the primary architects in the reconstruction of Iran after the Irani Iraqi war.

  • Women In Meddle East especaily in the Glf Cuntries like Emarites Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kawait. women these trat like a '' Queen'' I want everyone not Arabic and not from these countries to stop speaking lie. I treat my Mam and wife and sister and my daughter like Queen, I treat them as I treat my eyes. I look after them and I do the best to make sure they are happy. beacuse the Prophet muhammed says “The best of you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family

  • @uouo555 Yes, very interesting. I know women in gulf states too, and I am familiar with your kind of talk as well. The sort of problems women in gulf states suffer from are as follows: They can not freely choose their marriage partners. Mostly, they marry a straqnger who does not love them. The poor woman becomes "the mother of his children". That's the full extent of their relationship. Often the husband starts sleeping with the servant. Many families pressure daughters into marrying cousins.

  • @uouo555 Most guys in Gulf states try to fuck various women. It's an obsession, to chat with girls online, via mobile or any other way. At same time, they demand their own sisters NEVER go out, NEVER chat online, NEVER do anything, that might result in exactly that which they themselves do obsessively. "As I treat my eyes" is right, but extremely hypocritical. Actually, it's much worse, but I'm too lazy to spell it out for you...and you already know anyhow, hence you're very dishonest or blind.

  • @iPriestHolmes FYI 1 in 4 women in America have experienced domestic violence in her lifetime. Should we blame that on 'Islamic fundamentalism' too? I'm tired of the West thinking they are the moral preceptors for the rest of the world when clearly they should be busy with their own societal problems.

  • @Muslimah4321 I am tired of my taxpayer money spent fighting the war on terror because of the middle east.

Americans have been fighting and dying for our country from the begining. Now we're dying for arabs who cry for protection, then make deals with terrorists.

Now solve your own problems and leave the west ALONE, no aid, meds or money. Then the west will stop having opinions about you!!! Your Happy I am happy everybody wins sound good?

  • @anandn369 If you so respect women i would not even have called Muslimah4321 a "fcking bitch".....

I don't know which religion you follow,, and i don't even care to know,, i would advise you to stop wasting ur time with Muslims bcoz ISLAM is the TRUTH and as u know truth is hard to believe for ignorant!!!!!

  • @Muslimah4321

I think that women will be the death of religion and good riddance to all of it. Religions are all exclusive men's clubs, where men make the rules and women are relegated to the status of children or livestock. Never mind all the hate and intolerance that goes with it.

This kind of psychotic bullshit will get us all killed if we do not adopt something like, let's just call it "rational thought", where people make decisions based on actual evidence instead of stuporstition.

  • @Muslimah4321yah they're definitely doing a great job with a crashing economy, genetically modified foods, tons of incurable diseases on their crops and bodies and an overall illiterate nation that doesn't know the difference between real technological advancement or decreased usage of brain leading to even more dumbness...reaaaaal great. Oh Can we point out some kids in the U.S. who weigh less than their house? I mean Lab rats...not kids.

  • @Muslimah4321 soooooooooo true... I couldnt have said it any better :D

  • @iPriestHolmes Yes & in America many women starve themselves, spend exorbitant amounts on clothing & makeup & resort to drastic measures such as plastic surgery to fit in with the mold of what is considered attractive. contin....

  • @iPriestHolmes I am from KARACHI,and guess what i am a medical student who checks men's groins for medical purposes and what NOT!!!! We live a very independent and purposeful life! If there is one thing that oppresses me,its my intense medical studies and thats the only thing!,Please visit real karachi,CT your brain next time =p

  • @iPriestHolmes This video is in fact about Muslim women in America. Women in many parts of the world face challenges for various reasons. All of the places you mentioned 'visiting' are places with military conflict, that may have something to do with your perception. If you watched my film because you wanted to reinforce your bias, then it may be a challenge for you to accept the reality of the lives of the women I highlighted, but understanding the diversity of humanity is a process.

  • i really liked this

  • the accident story is so mush fun!

  • "Some of them are brainwashed" 3:49 :-)

  • lol,"i always wanted to be a hampster." @5:30. great video. aww thats so cute how the couple at @7:20 met.

  • Great brothers. I wish to leave Florida and be among you. I am proud of you.

  • 01:18 hahahahahahahah

  • I am physician here in Chambersburg Pa USA I am willing to ...

    khalidmd dot com

  • These women are bad Muslims. They are also normal people.

  • @senortank because you are may be god and you know how match faithful they are

  • @senortank indeed no one can judge no one, only Allah has the right to do that.

  • Meesha Helicopter??? xD

  • i loveeeeeee my deen Alhamdulilah I AM A MUSLIMA :-)

  • I had to stop watching this video since my muslim sister are wearing pants and showing thier shape with hijab. I will have to bear witness against them on judgement day. May Allah grant them wisdom to understand quran.

  • @Faavor Get over it dude.

  • 01.08. seriously?

  • 'Well I like women, so it doesn't matter if they're muslim or not' LOL

  • @NJburbsSeeker

No one is saying that if you are a muslim you are better than anyone else, it's only when your iman is good that can you be better in Allah's eyes. This video is trying to show that even as a muslim women you can live your life just like everyone else and that even if we wear hijab we can still work and be good wives at the same time.

  • having all the money in the world can not buy Imaan, nor can Imaan be stolen or won, its a Precious Gift given by Allah to only the chosen ones. some will be given it & some will Never have it. just think how Lucky & Blessed we are, so if you have Imaan do not take it for granted, treasure it, be Grateful because Nothing in this world can compare to it. a person who has nothing but has Imaan, has Everything, & someone who has everything but no Imaan, in reality has Nothing. Praise be to Allah!!!

  • 1400 years ago, prophet Muhammad stated that women have ALL rights men have, even the right to vote, the funny thing is that america only recently have allowed women to vote.

  • @uxa1 TRUE DAT! Women in Islam Alhamdolilah (All Praise be to God) have been told ALL their rights--to vote, property etc. Not everyone reads the Quran unfortunately so they let bad cultures rule their lives...

  • @yasmine040 no muslim should wear anything with the flag on it. america hates Islam and tries to force their version of democracy on the middle east. i'm an Arab that was born in America and will never admit that to anybody b/c it's not a privelege, it's a shameful curse

  • İ am a muslim girl and i dont wear anything to my head and wear anything i like. And nobody beat me because i am like that. It is sad actually people say that. Its about heart and soul and it is between you and Allah. Thats all that matters. Nobody is going to judge you properly but God. and dont let anybody!

  • @TheJanset

You are right you won't be judged by anyone other than Allah. Are you not afraid that you will fail in Allah's eyes by NOT wearing hijab? It's about worshiping Allah to the best of your ability, and if Allah says wear hijab then we should do that. You should only do things for Allah, not for anyone else. If you are worried about how people will look at you, then you will just be even more loved by Allah.

  • 11 people are non muslim! -.-

  • @yasmine040 Alhumdulilah I have been Muslim for over 5 years =)

  • I am in m dads youtube acoount. My dad will probably think im going to wear the viel since im watching this but I will try to wear the hijab. Inshallah Allah will incourage me to do it.

  • what is the song in 10:15 ?????????? please

  • @tifa903 India.Arie - I Am Not My Hair ft. Akon

  • @TheSickSicko tanks

  • I loved this it made me laugh lool

  • I adore this!!!

  • Hateful speech will be reported and blocked. Thanks!

  • @turkdiallo Oh i see, so you only want to see positive comments towards this religion or else youll censor us right? ok, Gotcha.

  • @Justice4vr This is not a film about religion, it is a film about 3 women. Trolls have lots of space to spew hate on whatever topic they desire, this will not be one of the spaces. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the film!

  • @turkdiallo I didnt enjoy the video. Its propaganda for the Muslim religion. Why cant it just be called "women do that"? You included the word "Muslim", that makes the video about religion, sorry, it does.

  • @Justice4vr it is about Muslim women, yes. That does not mean it is about religion, it means it is about women who identify as Muslim. More than 1 in every 5 people in the world identify as Muslim, but most Americans claim they don't know any Muslims. Part of that is because they have these preconceived notions that Muslims all look, act, practice in a monolithic manner. In a time where there is so much prejudice, introducing people for who they are instead of politicizing their existence
