  • XD I have an ocicat too! And the vet says he's overweight. 12 lb last I checked. Heh. Now that's an idea!

  • As the parent of a shelter cat and an Ocicat, as they say, you get what you pay for. Shelter cats-no warranty. Ours was cute in the cage but once we got him home ( 7 months old) it turns out he was a street cat (which they didn't tell us) and we told them that we have a B&B and need a cat with a good attitude and he does not have a great temperment at all and we're stuck with him. The Ocicat comes from a top breeder and he is everything we expected. Well worth the price and good advertising!

  • We got one from DotDotDot Ocicats in Nebraska. One of their sires is the kitty on the Iams catfood bag! And what an intelligent sweetheart he is. While not much of a lap cat as he is always exploring, he loves to play and is fast as lightning and not very talkative and unbelievably gentle. Keep them svelt and they can jump straight up and rebound off the ceiling! Well, almost.

  • How could anyone not LIKE this video?

  • ocicats are the cousins of the wild cats.

  • He likes to keep in shape & he is considerate saving you taking him for a walk. Thanks for the upload.

  • Wow, he's awesome. He looks like a wild cat.

  • Looks like a cheetah ! really cute ;O But my mom doesn't want me to buy a kitty if my cat dies & a few monts later i would want a new one i'd just have to wait en find one in the garden like last time or go get him at a shelter...

  • my fat arse ginger cat could do with a tredmill. please donate to (save my cat from a heart attack.com) :P

  • Awesome Cat :)

  • That is just lovely!!! What a beautiful breed...... the Ocicat is incredibly intelligent and athletic. A superb companion cat. They need lots of attention and company.

  • haha i love cats, they are so hilarious. Always up to something......

  • cool cat m9 probz could do tht to but im not sure

  • what a beautiful cat!

  • I love this video.

    He is a beautiful cat.

  • if you are making another vid put it on farst

  • wow what a gorfess cat, how beautifule

  • What a great cat and some personality! Can I borrow him? He can keep me from being so lazy. He has such beautiful markings. Gabriel would make a nice subject to paint. Who knows, maybe he'll be immortalized in a painting!!

  • JBravo, just another question. Sorry about being a pest. What's an ocicat's nature? They seem to like lots of activity. Very social? The impression I've heard is that they like being around lots of activity and people and are very smart. I like interactive cats; my late cat D'Artagnan was a wonderful cat, but one of the laziest cats I've ever seen. Dart was a few fries short of a Happy Meal too.

  • Yes, he is very high maintenance. He meets me at the door and follows me through the house. He also demands that I pay attention to him by bringing me his ball to throw. Before I got an automatic feeder, he would wake me up at 4 AM by knocking verious things down, etc. When I would spray him with a water bottle, he would immediately jump on the bed and put his face up to the bottle, wanting me to spray him. Yes, he is very smart and he knows it!

  • YOUR CAT IS SOOO GORGEOUS!

    glamorous too!!!

  • Sorry for being so cross. I wasn't having a good day and took it out on my post. I did have another thought, and this time it's a funny one. I was pondering how much energy could be generated from a cat running on one of those jumbo exercise wheels. Those cats fly! I'm glad Gabriel enjoys your treadmill. Watching him on the treadmill makes me a little ashamed; I ought to be working off the holiday pounds on the exercise bike! Gabriel has a new job title; weight loss motivator!! ;) Go Gabriel!

  • I agree with you.

  • Gorgeous cat. I just have one issue about cat breeding---why are those cats so blasted expensive? I think it's wrong to charge thousands to people who want an animal. Get a shelter cat.

  • If everyone paid (or were paid) "thousands" for their cat, they wouldn't be so quick to take it to a shelter. I signed a contract that I would not take mine to a shelter and I would have him fixed. In this day of instant gratification many people demand their wants to be met, and when they are not, they demand that everyone else be brought down to their level. If you want an Ocicat, save your money and keep your eyes open for a good deal like I did, if you need a cat, go to a shelter.

  • @Raevynschylde

You can sometimes find Ocicats at shelters, check near Military bases if you really want one. I am in the Marine Corps and I got my Oci, Devil, from a shelter. Marine's tend to throw money around, and sadly someone threw money at Devil and ended up not keeping him, because he is too high maintenance for the military life. I don't have much time left in the military so I can support his needy life, and he has brought a lot of joy to my world. There are always rare finds out there.

  • Thats so CUTE

  • i used to have two ocicats sadly they both died but i couldnt have asked for better cats.

  • omfg your cat is soooooo beautiful it kinda looks like an ocelot is tht why its called an ocicat ??

  • omg omg i want your cat

  • wow, i like the texture of ur cat fur. and its have nice posture too, well maybe the cats got a bit big stomach though.

  • That's nice music too.... what is the song?

  • that cats tight like a leopard

  • this is not a cat is phanter, look his fur lol beatiful congratz!

  • speed up the tredmill

  • yeah that cat could totally handle the faster speeds!

  • Wow! I had an orange kitty that looked exactly like this. Same markings and everything. She was found tiny and starving on a street in Alexandria, Egypt by a friend. She was a beautiful adult, but wild as a tiger!

  • These cats are really cool looking. They were bred in the 1960's to look like cats in the wild that were going extinct. Our neighbors used to have one and they are so beautiful. Nice video.

  • lol ur cat moves like a cheetah in the wild

  • it seems a little paranoid at the end

  • That is so weird to me that cats use treadmills. Although, yours is still a little chubby ;) Reminds me of my cat.

  • wow that cat looks awesome!

  • Gabriel has the greatest face!

  • they look well fkin cool looks like a lepard

  • Wowo Ocicats look cool, bet they cost a hell load though.

  • nice cat

  • Ocicats are wonderful! I have videos of my Oci, Kimba, up, too. I love watching Gabriel walk - his muscles are gorgeous! I love that sturdy, cat build of the Oci - no fluff - though they love to eat so much, I have to watch Kimba's weight... Great video!

  • i like her face her head she is so beauty

  • Why does everyone keep spelling it Ocicat? Isn't it spelled Ocelot?

  • No ocicat, they are a domestic cat that just looks wild, they have the temperment of a dog, Ocelots are not domesticated

  • The Ocicat is a hybrid of three domestic cats, the Siamese, the Abyssinian and the tabby American Shorthair to produce a domestic "Jungle Cat" with no wild blood.

  • What a beauty! That is one gorgeous cat, and a cute video. 5 stars!

  • I have a ocicat, Bengle mix He is 15 Lbs of muscle and squishy

  • Your ocicat is gorgeous, so muscular and lithe.

  • Why would you tape that...?

  • I want a cat so bad

  • I just got my ocicat kitten and he is a lavender spotted. I've never heard of White Fang's Spottery. I got mine from Auxarcs cattery.

  • Wonderful cat!Tell me;is a ocicat the same as a bengal cat?

  • No, the Ocicat is all domestic cat. The Bengal is a wild hybrid, with the Asian Leopard Cat.

  • How cute! My ocicat is getting a bit porky - maybe this is what he needs?! They do tend to be stocky anyway. This guy is very nice looking!

  • hi my name is gary nieves, and i like ocicats. especially azi

  • This is just to funny.. And maybe an idea for my «slightly» overweight Ocicat :-P

  • Such a pretty cat! looks like a little cheeta =)

    Cool vid!

  • He´s adorable!

  • omg i just found out my kitty is an Ocicat. Now i know what great things she is capable of doing!

  • I am interested in this breed....can you rovide me with information on where to purchase suck a cat?

  • Sure, I got Gabriel from Denise at "White Fang's Spottery" in Labelle, FL. You can find her site on google. Gabe's dad is "Grand Champion Auxarcs Ozzie" and his mom is "Skunk." Gabe is a silver, chocolate spotted Ocicat and "yes" he has lost weight since the video and "no" he's not pregnant ;-).

  • Oooh! I got my Ocicat from her and he has the same parents! They're siblings! He's also a Silver.

  • hahahah i love it

  • Oh, beautiful cat!

  • waaw i always wanted an ocicat....urs look so gorgeous...though im not a cat rater, isnt ur ocicat a bit fat? or is it healthy? (or pregnant?)

  • that is funny
