I see many ways to improve this system, but It covers the basics! Wire size, crocidile clips, and better charge controllers would need to be adressed! Im not bashing, Just saying! Anything from the sun thats free (after you get enough to pay off your investment) is a wonderful thing! TU AR SK .. Joe
Nice system job! but i think you need to set all the solar panels in the same angle. the panel's come to steal power (amp's) from each other. You will come to need bigger cables.
yer i know it all updataed now 25mm cables all over and 8 batteras 880 amp hours of power 6 panls up now need one more but out of cash. wen i get time i will make another vid of the up dataed system
Nice good job. I've got a 1.8 watt panel that produces 24V and 0.1 amps it charges my batteries 4 linked togeather to give me 16 amp hour. I've also got a 400 watt inverter. Its nice to see your system scaled up. Thanks keep us updated!

Hey, nice system.
Could you tell me how you wired the amp-meter to your charge controller?
Any plans to get the panels on the roof out of the way?

I love home brew solar. I have a small setup as well. I need to get more panels. But it's still nice.

You need to put an inline fuse at the + pos end of the battery cable to protect the wire. That would have saved you batt clip.
