Not silly, as you cannot classify Latinos as everyone one in the world being Spanish. For instance, people from Mexico are far different than Purto Ricans. Latino and Hispanic is something that can be wide ranged, but where does it start or end? Are people from Spain Hispanic, latino/ Latino is derived from Latin, which technically European.Dont Think Italians and French would be considered or want to catagorized at hipsanic. well i live in new york fucking city, and as far as i know, we do not put all people who are of spanish-speaking countries in the same bag. And we certainly do or should differentiate them according to their origin, people from mexico are not spanish, but hispanics.
