can you help me? user2.dat doesnt appear when I added a new account in PVZ, My previous account is in XP and i want to transfer it to Windows 7, please help :(
how do you get to the folder with user1.dat and things in it? and im on vista and i heard the folder can be "hidden" in /userdata i dont know how to see it
@sian240 right click on the shortcut to the game, and go to "find target folder" or something, once your in the folder you installed it to, just go to the "address bar" and add "\userdata"
like
c:\games\PvZ\userdata
or
c:\program files\popcap games\Plants vs Zombies\userdata
or whatever it is.
for Win XP:
You could also try telling to it "show hidden files/folders" by going to "tools/folder options/view/hidden files and folders (show hidden files and folders)"
@guest2424 user data folder is empty but when i play the game it still somehow finds the account and i changed the settings to see hidden files but its still not there and i cant find answers on google :(
@IBlueNinjaI try using the windows file search function and searching for "game1_*.dat" without the quotes, the * means "anything" if u don't find the folder, try "game*_*.dat"
It takes you directly to a page on my blog that shows you how to effortlessly defeat "The Last Stand" with only replacing 1 kind of item and using the rest for upgrades.
Oh thanks,, I made 3 people with the same names (diff styles) ! Arigatou ne..
