this was made a long time ago but id liek to say, i loved Caims character in both games, hes a silent tortured soul who has a endless need for revenge and blood :3 but he still cares for his sister :3
You just described every GTA player's motivations, so... Yeah, that's the point. XD Drakengard is basically a Garth Ennis or Warren Ellis comic book in playable form.
Caim and Furiae should've had some sort of secret incest ending with lots of luving and muffins and a bit silly children they'll have...oh and Inuart's song makes me want to jump outta the fucking window...
so... he's like Belkar from OotS? "So, I did what I always do—murder people horribly—but because I killed the people everyone else wanted me to kill, I get presents instead of prison time?"
This game, to my shock really hits on very touchy subjects, I remember plaing this game at 12-14, and missing it all haha, good thing I guess. And the language Inuart was singing in was Latin I believe, sounded like it to me
You make a good point about Caim, but to be fair he only gets crazier and more blood thirsty as the game goes on. At least early on he seems to care about his sister somewhat, and he becomes closer to the red dragon near the end of the game. But yeah, he is definitely a psycho, only a HERO because he fighting the empire and not the Union, and even that's just so he can kill as many empire soldiers as he can without punishment.
Caim's character changes from the first to the second game, a huge shocker, cause he's psycho, along with everyone else, and the second, total opposite, I honestly think the dragons took the opposite personalities, good dragon-good main character, evil character-evil dragon
the dragons are characters too, but their personalities evolve depending on the games, Angelus in this game is changed alot from the beginning of hate, but Legna from the 2nd is the same throughout the game, except for the end showing his true nature
Man, someone finally had the balls to do a LP of these awesome games! Thank you. Also, have you ever compared the names of the red dragon from the first game and the blue from the second?

Even if you are spoiling several plot points the people HAVE to know of nihilism in this game. P.S Drakengard HATES children!
