the voice is supposed to be husky and over the top so he won't be recoagnized.. and watch some of Christian Bales movies he is an amazing actor.. Maggie Jellenhall was horrible as dor Erin Eckhart.. Heath was the best because this was how joker was supposed to be portrayed.. off the wall insaine not caring if he died in the process but also in pretty good shape to fight batman.. Heath deserves an oscar.. he took on the role full heartedly, which unfortuniatly had a tragic end.. but the best ever

Michael Caine the perfect butler but at the same time a dad figure to batman. He can make jokes without disturbing the story.

Morgan Freeman bit plain but very good.

Back to Heath: He is amazing as the joker. The best of them all. And that doesn't mean the other s*cked or something, they are good, esspecially for the time they were made in.

And Christan Nolan did an amzing job with the story and bringing it on (IMAX) screen.

Aaron Eckhart is also very good. A real good guy that turns into a bad guy. Although i must say that he turns into a bad guy a bit too easy but that's not part of Aarons acting preformance.

Meggie Gyllenhaal: damsel in distress but with a lot more power then Katie Holmes (who played in Batman Begins)

Gary Oldman did a good job as well. He sees Batman as no one else sees but at the same time he doesn't trust him completely.

The movie is very well made. It has moments of peace and moments of good action in it and the stunts that are done in this movie are amazing.

Christian Bale is very good as the Batman. He's a superhero but at the same time a human being.

Heath Ledger is amazing as the Joker. He's very scary but at the same time you can't take your eyes of him. He's the ultimate evil! A very good acting job from Heath (again).

i think heath did a great job and about the best joker umm i'm a big fan of jack nicholson so.. i really don't know but like i said i heath did a great job , and about the girl i think she's better by miles than katie holmes

Haven't seen Dark knight yet but im looking forward to it. Im hearing everywhere that Heath Ledger's performance as the joker is great and he will propably win a grammy for that. Are the action scenes also great?
