@najlaish its not as romantic translated into farsi bc its literally i need u like I need you to come here help me etc.
Kaaret darum - k-aw-r-it d-aw-rum I need u Mara kaar daree? - M-ah-r-ah k-aw-r d-aw-ree?
you can try to make it romantic with adding Ba zindageem kaaret darum - I need u in my life or Mara ba zindageet kaar daree? - do u need me in ur life ?
@NeneAuditore its confused lol ALOT Of Afghans will say I SPEAK FARSI<-- when Farsi is what is spoken in IRAN buttttt Dari is a dialect of Farsi. The languages are the same/close like.. Hindi/Urdu Spanish spoken in spain/ Spanish spoken in Mexico you can understand someone speaking the other BUT they have differences in the accent and SOME vocab. :)so these lessons are DARI <-- if you wana be technical but Farsi is what ppl usually call it. One would think ur persian from IRAN if u say farsi
First of all thank you for all your lessons! I've just arrived in afghanistan recently and these lessons are helping me tremendously!
I'm not really using words from this lesson here in afghanistan tho :-p but my gf back in the states thinks its romantic that I use some lovey-dovey dari words when I write to her.
I want to be able to write my heart, my love in my letters to her in dari. Qalbem, Ishqem. Could you please show me how that would look written? Tashakur, khoda hafiz!
you are so awesome I couldn't believe when i found u
however I've few comments
the most confusing thing about any language is verbs and their cojugations.for dari past is very simple.but what is confusing is both present and imperrative form of the verbs -specially for irregular verbs
I am still in lesson11 I wonder if you've done a lesson only for verbs cojugation in present and imperrative, you don't have to say it all, just say the verb, its root and its present form, we can do the rest.
How to say "I need you" and then how to ask "Do you need me?".
Tashakor!
