I for one found it harder to learn how to scream than singing. When you learn how to scream you need to find the real techniques which is very hard compared to how you learn to sing. When I learned to sing it was just about singing and get the feeling of the notes, screaming was more complicated than that. Seen my video?

I think there are so many better female vocalists in metal, than Maria Brink. Just to name a few, Angela Gossow (even though she doesn't sing...she still has a vicious sound), Alissa White-Gluz of The Agonist...amazing range and beautiful singing; I'm not a huge fan of bands like Lacuna Coil and Epica, but their female vocalists are quite good too....i guess In This Moment, just isn't for me.
