  • I was on supplements for about a month, I went from 225 to 238 (I'm a football player), once I got off of all that, I lost the weight almost immediately.

    And one other thing, creatine basically fills up all your muscles with water, you get VERY BAD backne and acne on your face. If you're self conscious aout that kind of stuff, I wouldn't recommend it.

  • C4 is a very good pre workout. Ive been Bodybuilding now for 3 years so i know a bit. But remember Your Workouts and your Diet play the BIGGEST Role in your road to getting fit and looking great. You seem like you've done your homework on your road to getting fit keep it up.

  • The pre-workout supplement is not needed. In fact, some pre-workout products are really bad for you. Stick with drinking whey right after workout for the best results. But there are different types of whey supplements that don't work either. You need to know what you're looking for before you buy it. And as for the milk you should use for the supplement, use 1-2% milk if you're building mass, and for weight loss, use skim.

  • He probably died because Pre-workouts are absolute bullshit and horrible for you. Gold Standard 100% Natural Whey is the best.

  • At your level Dunkus, eat well. You really dont need all this. Waste of money, but if some of it taste good thats a diferent story. I think you belive it helps, but the real reason might be that you are more aware of your diet.

  • I heard you say something about jack3d.. It is a good pre workout but you gotta be careful it has something in it called 1,3-Dimethylamylamine and that can cause vasoconstriction or "stim dick" and that would not be good lol just anything with that in it be careful... I dont know about you but i would like to keep my boners lol

  • Damn, you must spend a lot of money on this stuff. I only use whey protein and creatine and it seems to do the job. Anyways, keep up the videos and you should do a vid dedicated to keeping motivated because the hardest thing about diets is staying on them.

  • You don't need any of that shit. Drink milk and eat a balanced diet (higher on protein if you're lifting/running).

  • Good stuff Dunkus... I too have been a "fit gamer" for years, and I use pretty much the same supplements as you. Not sure what peanut butter you're using, but definitely try to go with natural peanut butter. I personally think it tastes amazing, and has no added sugar in it like most peanut butter does. Crazy Richards natural peanut butter FTW!!!

  • One of the most important thing about building muscle is eating every 3-4hours with atleast 5 meals a day, make sure you get atleast 30 grams of protein per meal to divide the protein intake throughout the day =)

  • @MrDunkus What do you think about CytoGainer? Its made by cytosport who makes muscle milk, the main difference is just more calories because I need to gain weight. I'm about 6'2" 168 lbs, run at least 4 times a week, boxing everday, and lifting at least twice/week. All of that with a shit ton of food, and as much sleep as possible. any suggestions?

  • I make the same kinds of shakes, Dunk. You should try frozen strawberries. They sell big bags of them at walmart and/or target, etc. Works great. Also look into using Truvia as a sweetener. All natural, good flavor.

  • Whey is the way...combine that with a heavy weight routine and the muscle comes very fast...even for an old man like me. I've played with adding things like flaxseed or a little nonfat yogurt to help make the shake healthy and tasty.

    Add some Tool or Meshuggah as a workout soundtrack and you can't go wrong.

  • Ok people still need to realize yes the right supplements do SUPPLEMENT your muscle gaining goals but thats it. If you just take these supps and think your gonna get muscle. You wont gain much if anything. These supps support a balanced diet with good complex carbs, good fats, and some protein in WHOLE FOODS.

  • I used to use muscle milk, but my stepdad yelled at me for it. He used to be a body builder and said that muscle milk has a lot of shit in it you don't want. I don't exactly remember what those are(because I wasn't listening to well). But yea just my 2 cents.

  • @guyduncan00 You probally took to much then. It has Beta Alanine which also a stimulant found in jack3d. However taken with maybe one scoop at first you shouldnt see as much as that tingly feeling.

  • Supplements are completely unnecessary, many are just a placebo effect. If your workout routine and diet is good then supplements are not needed. Protein supplements are fine and are the only products you should get. All of the Jack3d, N0 -Xplode pre workouts are just glucose (sugar). Honestly, just get rid of the supps (except whey isolate or casein protein) and spend your money on eating correctly and fixing your diet. What are your lifting goals Dunkus?

  • all you need is; whey-isolate, creatine monohydrate (it is the only creatine with any factual evidence of working), and a multi vitamin. also, try universal torrent. if you are trying to gain weight add 200 calories to your diet every day to gain 2lbs of muscle a week. but the best way to gain anything is through your diet.

  • Pro tip. Whey protein is good but no where near the best for your body. You need to get a powder that has all raw ingredients.. As in beans lintils sprouts etc. That's the best protein there is and it's not supposed to taste good it's raw protein for a reason. Also mucsle milk has been shown to make you nipples stick out. So if you wanna look good without a shirt I would reccomend mot drinking it.

    The best motivation for working out is when you see results.

    I take Creatine, NO2, and Protein also but not has much because I am not trying to gain weight.

    I really appreciate you taking time to inform gamers on diet and what to take to work out.

    Diet is key for working out.
