Smart kid, i can't find any bullets any where for my 7mm. Last year i had no problem finding them. My rifle is used strictly for hunting, looks like i might have to buy a new rifle. Smart kid, i can't find any bullets any where for my 7mm. Last year i had no problem finding them. My rifle is used strictly for hunting, looks like i might have to buy a new rifle. Second, these rights are "inalienable". They are endowed to us BY OUR CREATOR. Even if these rights were no longer enumerated in the constitution (technically the bill of rights), we would still have them simply by being the sons and daughters of diety.
Any government...be it federal, state or local who infinges upon these rights does so illegitimately. We have these rights no matter what "the law" states.
People living in DC have the same rights that you and I do.

Look at Australia. They have been eroding gun rights for years and their crime rates are insane. Look at places like San Francisco where guns are basically illegal (up until recently when the NRA's lawsuit cleared them up a little), the crime rate there is terrible. My uncle lives near SF and won't go into the city unless he's armed, he'd rather go to jail for a year for having his Glock than spend an eternity in the dirt because some gangbanger mugged him for a few $.

Obama's use of the Arabic metaphor "the Camel's nose under the tent" is meant as the same type of analogy.
Once a Camel has it's nose under the tent, the Camel then pushes it's whole body into the tent.
I think it's curious that he chose to use an Arabic metaphor, instead of one more familiar to Americans.
