There is an officer at Cleaver's side and Cleaver confronts the man. If an arrest were to be made, it would be right there and then. Expand and improve Medicare to cover everyone and save bllions in taxpayer money. See PNHP for details. Well Obamacare is working, a freind of mine got a notice from his health care provider and they are filing for bankruptcy, he has had a malenoma in the past so it will be beynd impossible to find a new policy. My wife got her nitcie from her heathcare provider that they were pulling out of Indiana, she has diabetes . Her insurance company said tht Antem will guarentee coverage at their going rate and exclusions. I thought someone said that if you liked your coverage you could keep it.

Greetings,
I wrote the lyric for our local medical society's annual show last spring. For about 12 years we've been putting on a show with song parodies about hospital execs, insurance companies, Medicare, various specialties, etc.
I had started this one in 2008 except it had Hillary as the main character.
"One" uses a karaoke track with my vocal. For the others, I recorded all the music other than drum tracks from Mac GarageBand.

Can't you people see that President Obama is total and complete sell-out to the American Health Care Industry and He is owned and controlled by Wall St. It's painfully obvious to me that President Obama sold his soul to the Devil to get in to the White House. Obama and his administration wants you to think he is a socialist, its a smoke screen, but in reality he threw the single payer option right under the bus at the very beginning to appease his owners on Wall St.

Your grasp of criminal law is comparable to that of Constitutional law. Arrest first, then charges are filed.
Explanation for the use of the term "cloak and dagger" is interesting that it still makes no sense at all.
Some of your posts require a rebuttal longer than allowed in one post. How am I supposed to know you haven't figured out to read them. Try going to the video's URL, then try "View comments, related videos, and more". You should be able to read every exquisite word.

This was a attempt by the CBC to hopefully provoke a response which could be aired to "prove" how racist the anti-HCR protesters were.
When that failed they just made it up. Jesse Jackson, Jr was running his cam the whole time. I'd like to see his tape.

Now this sort of secrecy is more like what I think of as "cloak-and-dagger".

If a police officer doesn't witness the assault, it requires a complaining defendant for an arrest to be made. Detaining someone for questioning isn't an arrest. Your quote was dead on. No arrest was made. Arguing otherwise just proves you don't know what you are talking about.

There is an officer at Cleaver's side and Cleaver confronts the man. If an arrest were to be made, it would be right there and then. Do you really think if an "assault" occurred such as spitting on him, he would have to go downtown and file a complaint first? The Rep would have turned to the officer and said, that guy just spit on me and the arrest would have been made.

But Cleaver first said that the guy had been arrested. Whether you want to call him mistaken or a liar is your choice.
One guy, Rep. Carson, said he and Lewis were "repeatedly" called n******. No one else made any such allegation. There is no video evidence to be had to support this claim in spite of videos that run through the entire episode.
You can quit threatening to go away and actually do it anytime you like.

The fact is that even if I'm totally wrong, and none of the 8 people who claimed they were abused by Tea Party members ever happened, the Dems still took the high road. Refusing to press charges, asking GOP members to denounce violence and hate speech. Which they did. In the end, you just get good things. It's almost like you hope there is some sort of underhanded dealings here

I'm gracious enough to not call you a liar, but am certain you are merely mistaken. From the statement issued by Cleaver:
"The man who spat on the congressman was arrested, but the Congressman has chosen not to press charges."
I suppose, technically, Cleaver didn't "say" the words, but issued them in a statement, if that's what you mean.
As the late Sen. Moynihan said, You are entitled to your own opnion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.

Your interpretation of the so called "facts" is sad and laughable. He didn't say it. When asked in person he said no arrest was made and no charges were being pressed against the man. What more do you want from the guy?

You are absolutely right! Hamilton and the Federalists advocated for a larger role of the central gov't.
In response to this, the Bill of Rights was added to limit the reach of the federal gov't. The 10th amendment is quite specific that the power of the central gov't be limited as it "reserves to the states respectively, or to the people, any powers the Constitution did not delegate to the United States, nor prohibit the states from exercising."

Hamilton, Washington, Stoney et al (Federalist) vs Jefferson, Madison et al (anti-federalists) debated this same argument. The Federalists won that debate with Jefferson and Madison both abandoning their opinions in favor of securing rights specifically to their own states legislature.
The 10th Amendment doesn't negate the broad interpretation of the Gen Welfare clause. Simply allowed states the right to legislate individual mandates not delegated to the central govt.
