Slaughter was the shit when i was growing up! I seen there concert at one time, i had my room full of there posters! Blas Elias is soo damn hot haha! Great songs from these guys! And coming from a girls point of view...i loved seeing the skin tight jeans. That was probably the second most thing in my books, first was the awesome vocals from all the great bands in my day! Jesus those high notes in the beginning are insane. Fucking insane. This man has an insane vocal range!!! Just heard of this band yesterday and Mark Slaughter is already entered my top ten vocalists. And I am a vocalist so I know what to look for in vocals, to assess technicallity and this man is a fucking beast. By the way Dan McCafferty of Nazareth is my favorite vocalist and I have a hunch that he influenced Mark Slaughter, as he influenced both Axl Rose and Tom Kiefer as well as many others.

Marc Slaughter has an awsome voice!! What a range he can go through. Check out Vinni Vincent invasion. He was the lead singer for them before Slaughter along with most of Slaughter the band. Vinni was Kisses lead guitar player for awhile before he started to long of solos and showing them up. Not that i dont like Kiss just egos got in the way.

Someone gave me a cassette tape of Slaughter and I always thought it was too hard and insane for me to listen to. But eventually I started liking tons and tons of it. By the time I was 16, I loved Slaughter. It all started with a tape my uncle gave me of KISS. My love 80s metal grew more and more just based off the look and the music.

Bands like RATT, POISON, MOTLEY CREW, FIREHOUSE, STEELHEART, LA GUNS and a hole lot more just couldn't name them all. Concerts now days don't have the fun as the 80's did!
