  • THIS DA REAL FAT MAN SCOOP RIGHT HERE

  • This is Real Gospel Music!!!!!!!

  • if anyone has Bro. James Moore singing "Shine on me", please post it -no one it better than Bro. James Moore--

  • This is off the chain!! Praise God thumbs up!

  • Rev. James Moore was a musical genius. I miss him but his legacy will never die.

  • Please tell me where I can get a copy of the concert. I've been trying to find this concert for a looooooong time.

  • I LOVE this song! But, I HATE seeing all those effeminate men in the crowd!! ;( Grrrrrrrrr!!

  • Rev. James Moore and Mississippi Mass enoying themselves in the Lord. The musicians making a joyful noise as well. They had such clarity. Preach about that Joy. I feel a shout.

  • Check the director out, they LOVED TO LOVE the LORD. They have passion and fun with the LORD. That's good business!

  • This brother can sang and was annointed. When you hear him it's like you feel the presence of GOD. I wish I would have had the chance to experience one of his performances. He loved what he did (Praising and Loving GOD)!

  • Rev Moore still bless my soul when ever i hear him sing,Mississippi mass God bless you all

  • H mm mm......LOOK AT WHERE POPULAR MUSIC GOT THE BREAK- DOWN AND CALL AND RESPONSE AND A GOOD OLD LOOK AT YOUR NEIGHBOR ETC. FROM. THIS IS SO COOL AND REAL. LET EVERY THING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD!

  • camera panned on the drummer at the wrong time lol

  • love him. jesus calling his warriors home, james c.,frank w.,james moore and a host of others over the years. But i thank Him for loaning them to us to uplift and enjoy. Our time on earth is so short and these men of God who sang His praises just shows us how much so.

  • i enjoy this song everytime i hear it joyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

  • THIS INSPIRES BECAUSE I HAVE BAD TEETH AND IT HAS KEPT ME IN I THINK I'LL START GOING OUT PREACHING AGAIN........PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!

  • Love it

  • I Feel A 123 Step Coming On

  • yeah cymbal @00:18 ! :)

  • does he need to direct like that. allllllllllllll wild and everyware.

  • @whyspeaktou .....ALL i GOTTA SAY is U KNOW THAT WAS HOLY GHOST ANNOINTED!!!!

  • @1queengg sure it......... i think not, but who is to say

  • Minister James Moore could just flat out sing! Glory to God!

  • JOY JOY JOY JOY JOY

  • This guy was one of a kind! His range & power were next to none! He will truly be missed!!

  • who wrote the music to these songs??? i know james was a musician but was he writing the music?

  • @danielcorey21 Rev. Moore wrote six of the songs on this album, including this song. He was an acclaimed songwriter who was up-and-coming in the previous years, but his work with the Mississippi Mass Choir's smash debut album (particularly "I'm Pressing On") had such an impact that the late Frank Williams immediately approached Moore about doing his own album with the choir. It was a risky move at the time for Malaco Records, but a decision that no one would ever regret.

  • lol dude on the drums knocked down a splash cymbal then shooked his head lol that was funny

  • lol he don knocked apart of the drums dwn lol

  • @ 2:37-2:40 is that Dorcas's sister before she was in the choir with the cream dress on

  • Man, just look at all the views this video has. This song is 21 years old and packs just as much power as it did when it first came out. What does that tell you about today's Gospel music? When you take the "go" out of Gospel (and the "go" out of God), you'll never have anything with life in it. Or joy. Ever.

  • @MrCrossIsBoss Yeah i know. I used to walk to school on this song.

  • everything after 4:30 was just Amazing how he made the whole church sing in perfect harmony love the whole song tho :)

  • LAWD have MERCY! This man's voice was like NO OTHER male vocalist!!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP and we'll be looking forward to your solo in the heavenly choir after the rapture man of God :-)

  • Oan: dude with the box hair cut clapping looks like Eddie Murphy

  • i just read psalms 30:5 and I immediately thought about this song. I love this song. RIP Rev. James Moore

  • This song is one of my favorites. James Moore, you will be picking up where you left off, in Heaven. What a time we will have! This song also incorporated the talents of Jonathan DuBose and Joel Smith, on the lead and bass, respectively. They are Love Center (Hawkins) musicians. I know they had a glorious time making this video!

  • My My My... A master at his craft. Rev. James Moore was NO joke. One of the best to EVER do it. Rest on James.... Well missed and NEVER forgotten.

  • @anointedsag well said!

  • i miss the days when you went to a recording and the artists asked you to sing the parts and they would put it on the album/cd. what fun!

  • 0:18 His cymbal falls off

  • is that david blakley on the keyboard?

  • Ya'll jammed that Mississippi.

  • He brings it like Karen Clark Sheard, and why did it take the crowd so long to get to their feet?

  • That choir director is certainly getting it in!

  • I came to Jesus wounded and weary, in him i found a resting place. He filled me with the Holy Ghost, HE gave me Power, AND Victory. The Lord is Great, mighty in battle, a great comforter, Awesome. Jesus gives me Joy. He can give Joy.

  • he's enjoyn himself @ 6:17...blesss your name jesus...R.I.P pastor moore!!!!!

  • J. Dubose is killin me!!

  • @deepdarkcocoa FINALLY!!! I am not alone. I agree with you on the other stuff too. I still watch the show, but it is nowhere near what it used to be. The WORD network actually broadcasts Bobby Jones classics on Saturdays I think and they great.

  • James Moore is still that guy! I remember he was one of the only artists I would watch on Bobby Jones Gospel when I was a kid back in the 90's. Love this man's ministry even now.

  • @Vangelist Wow! you too? So did I. It seems like Bobby Jones was always good when James Moore was on there. and a few more choirs. That was when Bobby Jones was good! Now, its a little too much contemporary. Dont get me wrong, they alright, but I miss the choirs. and Rev, James Moore, I totally agree with you

  • love this song rip in peace james moore gone but not forgotten

  • Awsome song with a awsone base line.

  • This was track 6 from James' 1st album "Live With Mississippi Mass Choir" and was the 3rd song I learned by this really great gospel artist.

  • Here we are in 2010 this sounds of good they don't make it like this anymore, it close but not close enough....

  • The guy on the drums played in Atlanta and brought the house down at the jass fest

  • This is still one of my Favs, sweet, thanks.

  • Thank you for sharing this! It's just what I was looking for.

  • Another old favorite of mine!

  • omg I remember when my church song thins song an that was in the early 90's I was a lil boy an that was New Life pasadena ca off fair oaks an montana

  • when I was a boy, I used to be kind of scared of James because of his lack of teeth in the front! LOL...but Oh my lord that man could sing like nobody other man around. Now that I'm in my late 30s...all I can say is "who cares about his teeth...his talent was AWESOME!

  • @zivaray ROTFLMBO!!!@"Scared of his lack of teeth in the front"!!!<<<dyinggg! That sure didn't stop his Beautiful, Powerful Anointed Voice though! He has to sang in Public & The Church is just WRONG for not raising a Dental Offering to help get him some New Teefs!!! :P

  • JOY JOY.....UNSPEAKABLE...

  • They are packed in there like sardines!!!! This is a true old school gospel concert!!!

  • i love this song, but most of all how the bass and lead accentuate the words and voices of this song. it has a nice vibe to it. you can really nod your head to it, or you could say that the music really draws you in........either way the guitars sound nice!!

  • I just posted the CD version of this song

  • lol everyone up front sat down quick.

  • such a classic!

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • This was the jam when I first started playing bass!! The band had a great chemistry....Joel Smith on Bass & Jonathan DuBose Jr on Lead Guitar! They were & still crazy with it!!!!

  • i love this song my fav part is wen the audience starts to sing and they sounds just like the choir but wit out mics

  • i love this song my fav part is wen the audience starts to sing and they sounds just like the choir but wit out mics

  • Reminds me of my youth choir days. If you know anything about the gospel songs of the 90's, you know we had some crankin' tunes. I don't know about today's stuff. Some of it is good but it seems like the more time winds up, we're getting away from the raw gospel.

  • they r saying weepin' may endure 4 a night, scripture

  • Oh my goodness! I love this song! Simple and true words.

  • thanks for this clip

  • LOVE this!! Praise the Lord!

  • The Holy Ghost is all over my Brother. Joy

  • God Almighty! Both singers and chiors of my generation don't sing like this anymore. Even the musicians are on one accord. Like my parents say, "Just singing gospel songs for the sake of singing is one thing, but the ANOINTING makes all the difference."

RIP,RESTING in peace, The legendary Rev. James Moore

  • I got this tape some where l love it.

  • This man is awesome!

  • David Curry loves to get down lol that's how you praise God! Church folk have gotten too cute to praise him these days.

  • amen to that they wather stand there either in a daze or run to the bathroom to check there make up.

  • What are they saying. We've been made endure for a night but, joy cometh in the morning.

  • "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy's gonna come in the morning..."

This comes from Psalm 30:5, which reads: "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

  • @blesedone1 Please read the Bible: the book of Psalms, Number 30, and in the King James Version if you have it. The Bible should be required reading for all Christians. LOL!!!!
